At check in, I think you should ask people if getting hotel info from that card is ok with them, or would they prefer a 3-ring binder with all that info printed out for them. Some of your guests are super seniors, i.e. no cell phone and/or no idea how to use a QR code. Be sensitive to the ages of your guests."

"This is a somewhat dated conference center and event venue in a beautiful spot overlooking the Hudson. The contrast between 1980s-era hotel rooms and hallways with the nicer "mansions" is a bit jarring. Breakfast is pricey but in the loveliest building with a really nice view. If you are not here for an event - we were not - you might feel like a second class guest, as we did."
