I made the reservation w Travelocity and never received a confirmation email. I search and search but didn’t find it. I have covid and couldn’t make the trip this week. I guess I need to delete the Travelocity app so this doesn’t happen again. I’m really mad at you guys.

Great place, nice calm location, BUT it advertises breakfast from six whereas in reality it offers breakfast from 6:30. I feel tricked. It was the supposedly early breakfast that made it my preferred option

Valet parking and luggage unloaded from your car and delivered to your room! This made the stay effortless and I felt super pampered. The room and bathroom were large compared to most hotels. Excellent customer service and great value for New York area!

Upon arrival, after flying across the country to be there, it took us 20 minutes to find the check in person. they were in the bathroom. upon entering our first room, we went to set our luggage down and settle in, some to find poop all over the toilet in the bathroom. The second room had a balcony door that wouldn't shut, so the winter breeze made the room freezing. the 3rd room we tried only had one bed and we needed 2. the fourth room had hair on the sheets, the 5 t room was fine until day 3 and the heat went out in the middle of the night. mind you it was February and freezing. They brought us a space heater 4 hours later that didn't work. we ended up checking out and going to the hotel down the street that wasn't much better but it was warm and the staff was MUCH friendlier at the Andrew, so we overlooked the uncleanliness as we didn't really have many other options.

As far as the temperature on Friday, it was uncharacteristically cold, and the system we have in the hotel was working at full capacity. We are happy you found another hotel in the area and wish you all the best in your future travels.

It took us 5 different tries to get a clean room upon arrival. The first room had poop on the toilet seat. The 2nd room had a balcony door that would not shut/latch with no lock the 3rd room had hair on the sheets the 4th room had a broken refrigerator the 5th room was fine but our heat went out 3 days into our stay and it was dead winter

Wonderful Art-Deco Hotel in Great Neck

Pros: So close to so many things! In walking distance to stores, restaurants, and the Long Island Railroad!
Cons: Parking is expensive- $15 a day. But do what I did- just park on the street!
Location: LIRR is super close, which is nice. So if you want to get into the city, it's very accessible. $8.25 off peak each way.
The room was nice and spacious. Great amenities- high class toiletries, complimentary Keurig machine with good kcups and bottles of water. They even give you little chocolates (though this only happened once for me- the maid service did not replenish the water, chocolates, or k cups unless I called to ask). Just keep in mind this is not a typical hotel- it's got fewer rooms than a Holiday Inn or a Marriott, so no ice machines and no work out room. However, they will bring you ice if you ask, and I had plenty of space in my room to work out. If you have to be in Great Neck, this is a wonderful option.
