"Odd sort of a place - completely deserted by 9pm each of the four nights we were there. Reception was supposed to be open until 9pm but when we returned with keys to the hotel bikes (€9 a day) at 8.45, it seemed long since deserted. That is important as Göhren is hilly and the railway station is down in the lower part of town at sea level. If you have ever been in Howth, Ireland it is near identical geography in Göhren. The 21, 29 and also 20 buses that get you into other parts of Rügen stop outside the Heimatmuseum about 200 m away around the corner."
