I loved the hotel for so many things. I really liked the front desk staff and the fact that they were so helpful. I got an option of ground floor or upper floor. I was also told about some of the really neat places in the area, and given directions. I would have liked a more robust breakfast but the food is still good. I have never been to the area before so I was nervous about all the people in the parking lot but I found out later it was construction people so I felt better after that.

On this trip, we tried a couple of new places. One was very bad and expensive (Cottonwood) while Holiday was excellent and well-priced. The room was clean, quiet, and nicely appointed for a traditional motel. Unlike many hotels these days, the bedding was ticker with an extra blanket provided, with both decorative and decent-sized pillows. A Keurig with pods was provided and included dark roast pods from Peets Everything was pleasant. I even had a chance to have a lovely, casual chat with the owner over coffee when we checked out. Great place to stay.
