We had a lovely two-night stay. The house is very nice, our room was warm, spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent with lots of options. The location was excellent for Bowness shops, bars, cafes and restaurants, plus Lake Windermere too, with a 10-minute walk. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely hosts and welcome, we were able to check in early which was really appreciated on a cold day in January. Everything was sparkling clean, and the cooked breakfast and other breakfast options were all really good quality. Cherry on the cake was the included use of leisure facilities at the Old England. Great place to stay! We had a lovely break and stayed here for New Years, the location is amazing (10 min walk to the main Bowness area) and the service by the team was exceptional. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to the lakes.
