"From start to finish our stay was delightful. Our host, Charlie, was friendly, accessible and informative. The home was beautiful, clean, well equipped, nothing was left to the imagination. He and Kayla literally thought of everything. The kitchen was well equipped, and they provided so many little conveniences that no other place we’ve stayed at even thought of providing. The location of their home was quiet, peaceful and felt remote, but was very convenient to the little town of Meredith. My husband & I were initially unsure about the location being on the river rather than Lake Wakewan itself but the views were stunning. Unfortunately, due to a drought, the water levels were very low along the river/canal making it a challenge if you wanted to canoe or kayak. We were 4 adults visiting but if you brought children, the hosts provided lots of games and activities for the kids as well. We truly enjoyed our stay at Riverview Haven.
