Staff member at check in was not friendly. I had to ask about breakfast and check out time. Hotel was very nice and room large and clean.

Good Hotel stayed there before

Everything was good, however the thermostat in the room was very hard to control. We were really cold or too hot.

The Elevator

Filthy....truly filthy carpet.... It's unbelievable that they continue to allow it to remain that way and not change it. I mean how expensive could it be????? I wonder what Paris would say if she got in that elevator she probably wouldn't get in it.

They didn't communicate within the hotel regarding the reservation being pushed back a day and ended up packing up our belongings and had them at the front desk when we got back. We finally got it resolved but my wife felt violated having someone just throw her things into a suitcase.

Clean, comfortable hotel with accomodating staff.

We spent one night in this Hilton Garden Inn on a trip to visit friends and family in Long Island. The atmosphere was very clean and comfortable. We booked a junior suite, which gave us a separate sitting area with desk and television. The beds were very comfortable and the buffet breakfast was good -- the staff there was excellent and accomodating. The pool area is small, but the heated indoor pool was nice. Only drawbacks for us, was the uneven air conditioning -- which blew directly on us. And, we had requested a top floor room, since I'm a light sleeper and hate hearing people walking around over my head, but didn't get one. It didn't turn out to be a problem, though.
