My husband and I thought the property wasn’t luxurious HOWEVER, it was very well maintained! The rooms are very comfortable, clean and maintained. I LOVED that had an ocean view too. We didn’t use the little stove but it was a nice option to have. If we ever return to VB, we will definitely look at your availability! Thank you. Sandra Rodriguez

The Schooner Inn was recommended by a person that said they love it! Well it lived up to my expectations. I love being at the end of the boardwalk away from the noise. I booked a little kitchenette and it was perfect. Comfortable beds. The little dinette table and chairs. It was exactly what I needed I will definitely keep the Schooner Inn on my radar for the future.

Our room was hot. They failed to tell us that from October to March, there's no air conditioning. So it was 80 degrees in our room. Tried to turn the air on and it was blowing out hot. So I called the front desk and told them what was happening and they said they would send maintenance up. An hour passed, we are in our room sweating and nobody ever came. So we went to the front desk and THAT'S when they informed us that if we try to turn the air on between those months, it will blow out like you turned the heat on. I said oh okay so they couldn't tell us that when we checked in. Or when I called AN HOUR AGO and explained exactly what was happening and you guys didn't tell us to turn the air off. Didn't tell us there was no air. Just said you would send maintenance that never came. He said in order to keep the room cool during those months when it's hot outside, you have to keep the doors open. I know you don't think I'm leaving the front door of our room open for a cross breeze while we are sleeping. Left the balcony door open so we didn't bake ourselves but got very minimal sleep because of all the noise. Also, got a room with a tub and half the jets didn't work.
