    Welcome to Salty Dog! Recently updated 2 story beach home offering close to 3,000 square feet of space to ensure maximum relaxation for you and the entire family! Head to the backyard and splash around in the beautiful in-ground pool (Open based on weather May-September). Outdoor shower for washing off after a long day at the beach. Cook up a delicious meal using the outside grill!
    1st story: 4 spacious bedrooms and 2 full baths, one of two living areas with bar and futon, and an entry way to the backyard and pool.
    2nd story: Stunning kitchen with updated stainless-steel appliances and beautiful hardwood floors, a sunroom which has a TV and separate door to the deck with access to the fully fenced in yard and a dog door! 3 more bedrooms are located on this second story as well as the main living area.
    Just a 2-minute walk down the beach path to Sandbridge beach, offering beautiful views of the sunrise and sunset. Easy access to a fun day in the sun!

    Perfect spot for a family vacation
    We loved the location of this house. Easy access to the beach and only a short drive into Virginia Beach. The house was spacious and we absolutely loved the pool. The kitchen was fully equipped, even had a crockpot! The only thing i would say negative would be that it needs a deep clean. Under the couches and beds have not been cleaned in a very long time. There is a strange smell sometimes, but that may the air conditioning? Overall it was a nice place to stay and we had an amazing week!

    The check-in process was very simple when we entered the residence. It was not clean bathrooms had hair in the drain. There was sand all over. There was a lot of flies in the backyard. Also water issue in the back when it poured water would accumulate there and not drain. I do have pictures if you would like me to send them overall disappointed in the place but love Virginia Beach.

    Do not rent! Smells like dog pee and needs remodeled badly.
    The first floor smelled so bad like dog pee. We could not use the first floor. The place was as cleaned as it could be, it is in disrepair. Our childrens feet were filthy dirty after 1 hour barefoot inside. Needs remodeled stat! The owners should be ashamed to rent this place. The porchs are so dirty and furniture is dangerous and broken with rust. Beds are Horrible! This place is cheaper but its not worth the savings. Pool is not heated and the lawn is just dirt and a few weeds. The front "lawn" is weeds. Oh and there was a black snake that visited daily and many spiders. It was like a terrible camping trip. Also the faucet and washer needs repaired when we were there, so we had no washer for 2 days. Sum up - Do Not Rent!!!

    Do NOT stay here under any circumstances
    Avoid this place at all costs. There was dog hair and mouse poop throughout all of the beds, and mouse poop all over the floor. I would give this property negative stars if I could. The management property was great- 5 stars for service. Very responsive, found us a much better place to stay, and hand-delivered us pizza for dinner.

    Very dirty and old
    When we arrive the place was a mess. I called the property management company and they sent someone out right away. She informed us the cleaning people thought we were checking in Saturday (it was Thursday). They sent someone who worked in the office not a cleaning crew. We left while she cleaned and when we came back it wasn't that much better. The sinks in the bathrooms were filthy and still had someone else's toothpaste spit in them. All the beds were not made. The outside furniture was decrepit and falling apart. The pool guy showed up unannounced. We were not notified a strange man would be coming in to our back yard while we were enjoying the pool. It made us uncomfortable. There were odd stains on the ceiling (like splatters) and the kitchen floor was sinking in some places.

    Very spacious
    The place was very spacious, so great for my large family. Loved the pool and the yard for the dog! Just a short walk to the beach, and if you want a more lively time, it’s easy to drive to the VA Beach boardwalk. A couple of the bedroom closets need a cleaning, they were pretty dusty so we didn’t put our stuff in there. Bathroom in the upstairs master bath was super tiny. Place was great overall, my family had a wonderful time!

    Wonderful place to rent for your week away at the beach!
    Great experience all around!! Booking was simply, easy and hassle free. The company reached out personally to you with emails and text messages regarding your stay. The property was well maintained, clean and conveniently located close to the beach, only a 3 minute walk. Highly recommended!!
