This is my third stay with a group at this property. It is immaculate and well-appointed, with great areas for gathering and for relaxation, comfortable beds, and plenty of space to spread out. The hot tub is an ideal place to decompress and there are three separate dining tables (two outdoors) that can seat up to 6 and a large one that seats 8 in the main dining room. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and the living spaces are numerous and comfortable. Great stay, as always! One of our group members left something behind and the agent was eager to help us get it back and went out of her way to do so.

The property itself is quite lovely and overall we enjoyed our stay. However, as soon as there was an issue the communication with the rental company was quite poor. The Hot Tub was not working which was a crucial piece as to why we booked the location. Clearly nobody had checked it prior to us arriving. We ended up spending a couple hours back and forth trying to solve the issue, which interrupted a part of our stay. When I asked for a partial refund, it took them over 2 weeks to get back to me, with multiple attempts and reminders on my part.

This house is truly beautiful and exceptionally well kept. There is plenty of space to relax and gather, and it feels very homey while still offering a lovely touch of luxury. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with cooking tools and equipment—everything needed to prepare meals—which made cooking easy and enjoyable.The view is absolutely spectacular and a highlight of the property. We loved the convenient access to nearby hikes, and downtown Victoria was very easy to reach—less than a 30-minute drive. Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay, and we would happily return.

Large beautiful home. Ample room for 7 people. Very clean. Kitchen was fantastic. Bedrooms were large and clean. In fact there is 2 kitchens so there is a lot of room for storing food and beverages in 2 large fridges. The host was easy to communicate with and we had a lovely lady give us a tour of the whole house when we checked in.

We had a fantastic time. Donna welcomed us to the house which is unique in what I have experienced with VRBO. She was so helpful and explained the entire house, appliances, etc. Great location and the house looks even better in person than in the photos. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful Location and Luxurious House

Immaculate property. Spacious and well-appointed, with room to spread out and enjoy entertainment, meals, and relaxation. Beautiful location with fantastic views. We loved the comfortable beds, the kitchen, and the choices of places to dine both indoors and outdoors. This was my second stay at this property and I will seek it out again if I travel to Victoria with a big group again in the future.

Celebration of Life

The Bear Mountain house was perfect for our extended family to celebrate our mother, grandmother and great grandmother’s life. It is very well appointed with 2 kitchens, lots of dishes and glasses, cookware and spices. Beds were very comfortable and the hot tub was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed their stay very much.

Perfect place for a family get together

We are eleven adults and a one year old. The house gave us plenty of space for different groupings for conversation or games, space to get away from the activities when needed, and the perfect location to easily get to the major attractions of the area. The kitchen is stocked with every utensil, pot, or pan needed to prepare meals for everyone. Very comfortable!

Beyond my expectation!
