Multiple things hung from the wall were pulled out of there screws, and were dangling from their mounts. There was also a mouse running around in the breakfast area and when I showed the video to the staff at the front desk they laughed like this was acceptable.

Excellent experience at the Days Inn Vancouver near the U.S. Consulate. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. The rooms are renovated, comfortable, and very clean. A big plus is that they store your luggage, which makes it very convenient to attend a consulate interview without carrying bags. The location is very strategic, perfect both for appointments and for touring the city. Highly recommended.

There were mice running around in the basement where they served breakfast to the guests. Seeing two mice run around during breakfast was enough to gross annyone out and want them to check out early. When we messaged about the mice, they responded with telling us they get pest control to come in once a month — which is clearly not enough if they know this problem exists. The rooms also need some work — definitely needs a new paint job AT THE LEAST. The clock in the room would jump around with what time it was, and very unreliable. We also came back after dinner and the large painting had fallen off the wall. The vibes were not right and sleep was hard to get — especially with thoughts of mice running around.

Room was clean but small and had no view. The windows faced a concrete wall. However, location was fantastic so it’s a good place to get around the core of Vancouver. Waterfront was only a couple of blocks away.

Not only I wasn’t able to check in with my credit card, my card had the space but for some reason the machine kept declining. I didn’t get my refund for the night as I had to find another accommodation last minute when I gotten there past midnight. Although the front desk worker is really nice. There should be some sort of leniency on check in without credit card for moments beyond our own control

Clean room, good enough for the value paid. I have some things to point, though. The shower drain was clogged, so the water drained slowly, accumulating in the shower box. The A/C was also a little too loud when triggered.

The accommodation was a bit dated, but very central and well kept. It was reasonably priced and although there's enough filling buffet breakfast included in the room rate, there's only limited option. Again, considering the room prices, it's quite a generous inclusion. Just a short walk from Waterfront station that directly connects to the airport.
