A peaceful place with good breakfast. However, we arrived at 10am on a Sunday, reception closes at 5pm, so were given our keys by restaurant staff, which was ok but when we found our rooms they were unbearably hot and stuffy, and in one the bathroom fan was stuck on making a high pitch squeal. With no reception staff or night porter, we had to find a fuse box and cut the bathroom electricity in order to get to sleep. We informed staff in the morning and they were apologetic, but later when we had queued for ages to check out we weren’t even asked if we had a good stay, which was surprising. It looks like it would be a really great place to stay, but the staff everywhere felt inattentive, which was a shame.

En pärla mitt i naturen!
Hade hört så mycket gott om Ästad innan vistelsen, men visste ändå inte vad vi skulle möta! Som att kliva in i en Sagovärld! En slingrande väg genom vackert höstlandskap och plötsligt var vi framme! Lätt att parkera. Receptionen låg i en fantasiborg inne i gräskulle! Vårt rum låg i en av stugor med gräs på taket! Blev förvånade när vi öppnade dörren. Som en blandning av hotellrum och fjällstuga? Trivsamt och inget fattades. Vi var med på både vingårds-guidning och vinprovning och det var spännande. Vi åt lunch i logen. Också det en i unik miljö och maten var så genuin och smaklig! Sen hade vi spa:et kvar! Och även det var alldeles speciellt! Som Sagan om ringen där inne mötte ute. Olika bastu-rum som med ljud och doft gav olika upplevelser! Trots att det regnade så var det helt ljuvligt att sitta i varm utepool och titta på höstlöven! Tog chansen att besöka spa:et även under morgonen. Var helt själv till att börja med! Vi åt middag på kvällen och det var också fantastiskt gott! Personlig service rakt igenom! Frukosten var också mycket god! Rakt igenom helnöjd och förstår alla lovord vi hört! Liknar inget! Ästad har välbefinnande och matglädje som sitt signum! Vi vill tillbaka!

Lyx i vardagen
Jag och min man var jättenöjd med vår vistelse på Ästad Vingård. Vi bodde på ett Superior rum. Room with steam sauna vill man inte betala extra på Spa så är det utmärkt att ha egen ångbastu i rummet. Spat var också jättebra och allting är ju så klart smaksak. Den som passar för mig/oss passar kanske inte för dig/er. Gårdsmeny och dryckespaket kan rekommenderas. Vi var så nöjda efter vår middag och även om man inte får så mycket mat av den Gårdsmenyn, så var vi så nöjda när vi gick därifrån. Jag vill tillägga att vill man äta något som man vill bli mätt av, så kan man lämna Ästads Vingård och hitta en annan restaurang speciellt om man är sugen på saftig biff. På Spa reception kan man bara beställa vegetariska rätter. I bokskogarsområden kan man ta långa promenader och man behöver inte heller vara rädd att gå vilse eftersom det finns vandringsstigar som visar vad man ska gå. Vi vill gärna komma tillbaka dit igen:)

Jättefint ställe. Men det var i tre byggnader. Ingen dörröppnare till receptionshuset. Häftigt med egen liten bastu och det var ju bra eftersom det kostade extra in till spaet. 2700 för 2 pers med mat och säng är ju ganska häftigt. Hade det funnits prislista på rummet till allt som var i baren och kylen hade man kanske slösat lite. Sängarna var i mjukaste laget ,men mörkläggningen av elektroniska gardiner och rullgardiner +ac gjorde att man sov bra. Mycket trevlig och proffsig personal och jättefin naturmiljö både i hotellet och utanför alla byggnaderna. Fantastiskt frukostbuffé med lax (hade varit trevligt med små saltkar till äggen) och 4 rättersmidsagen på kvällen var fantastisk.

Några små detaljer
Alldeles på tok för mycket insyn, antingen har man full insyn till rummet eller ingenting, hade önskat att kunna täcka halva fönstren nertill. Häftigt med olika beslysningsprogram, men hade velat ha smålampor att tända för mysbelysning, ev fler levande ljus. Hade även önskat att sängarna haft en stor madrass istället för två små, blev en stor glipa mellan sängarna under nätterna. I övrigt väldigt bra hotell, bra service och en fantastisk frukost.
