Book a hotel near Towne West Square, Wichita

"This place is cheap and that’s about all I can say positive about it. It says fully stocked kitchen which is not true at all. There’s a microwave, a stove top and a refrigerator. It says WiFi but we couldn’t pick up a signal on any of our devices anywhere on the property. The woman with the pony tail who works the front desk in the mornings is the rudest and nastiest hotel clerk I’ve ever met who makes that place a nightmare. We were there a month and yesterday morning, she came to the door demanding payment and we tried to explain to her that my paycheck would load any minute and we would pay for two weeks but she tried locking us out of our room stating we couldn’t get back in to even get our belongings and she called the police who let us get our things. Even the police were confused why a hotel wouldn’t wait a few minutes and get two weeks payment instead the room is sitting there vacant. Real smart. We were there a month; we never caused any problems, we kept the room clean. We paid daily housekeeping fees but the entire time we were there, housekeeping never once came to our door to even offer us clean linens and a couple times we asked for sheet and towel exchanged but each time we were told they had none available. A hotel with no clean sheets or towels is crazy. We just washed our own stuff, like the cop said, there are a ton, pretty much every other hotel in town, that will be happy to book to us and take our two weeks payment. That place will close with her there. "

"The hotel was out of hot water. They did inform me and I decided to stay due to having an itinerary of plans that was accommodated by their location and price. A discount would have been nice. The breakfast was nice and decent selection, but the chairs in the lounge area were discus ting and in need of cleaning and some just need full replacement. The staff were really nice."

"The staff was very friendly my entire stay, the room however was very disappointing. The bed was the only comfortable part of the room and the sheets were still covered in stains so I slept on the flat sheet. The mirrors and walls were covered in splatters of multiple things. I don’t think the mirror close to the bed has been cleaned in a long time, the baseboards around the window and ac where molding and falling apart, there was a lot of white powder on the ottoman for the chair, which had me concerned so quickly washcloth, the lightening is real bad and I had to move a lamp to the kitchen area just so I could see what I was doing, the window had huge cut outs in the screen and the view of the pool that hasn’t been running in awhile was not something I wanted to look at! There is also no longer a breakfast. "

"the property has been kept very nice, neat and quiet. The building is spacious and room comfortable. Only thing I have a concern for breakfast included or not being ambiguous in Xpedia website. Need to be clear stated"

"The room we got when we checked in was gross, they moved us to another room but I got the “ick” from the first room and had a hard time getting over it. The hotel is old and you definitely get what you pay for. My kids enjoyed the pool and the walk way around it was slick so that was a positive thing."

"Lobby was beautiful, loved the king sized beds but having a stove in the room next to the bed without an air vent was troubling. Couldn’t cook something without the room getting Smokey. The shower head was terrible in the tub. The water barely came out and I didn’t feel as clean as I should when getting out. There was only one working elevator that everyone shared and it was very out dated. The buttons showing the floors wouldn’t light up so you didn’t know if you were going up or down. Staff were friendly and the parking was good. Did not get the chance to eat breakfast so couldn’t really put a review on that."
