We booked the panoramic king room with lounge access. It was a pleasant stay with the room newly renovated. The staff were kind but sometimes communication can be difficult but it was generally okay. The hotel is close to oedo and mita metro lines. The view of the tokyo tower from the Lounge is amazing! Its definitely more worthwhile to book a room with lounge access than one without. The heating in the room quite warm so we opened the balcony window throughout the night. The water pressure is great and amenities are quite good (subject to charges if you wish to use the pool and hot spring).

We went to Tokyo for my wife's 50th birthday. She wanted a great view of the Tokyo Tower, and we received that. While the stay was great, it was not a 5-star experience. Breakfast was very good, but you pay extra for it. When we arrived , we were given a room that was the coorect room , but it was hot. The room would not get colder than 75 degrees farenheit. They sent people to check, and they offered me a portable upright A/C unit, but it was not enough, and I insisted they give me another room, which was much better. I was not pleased that no one verified the room A/C was working properly before we arrived, which showed the lack of quality control personnel. The hotel was dated but in good working order, althought I noticed that for a tourist destination , there would be more english speaking personnel , but we survived with hand gestures and pictures, as far as communication was concerned, when we could not understand each other. I am not a renowned world travel, but I have been to a few places and this was the first time that I have encountered that a paying guest who, has to pay xtra if they want to use the hotel's swimming pool. I did not pay to use the pool, and not for lack of having the money, but for the self respect thst a guest staying at an expensive hotel should have with regards to pool use that should be complimentary. Two of the hotel's restaurants were being renovated at the time of my stay, so I did not have the privelege to dine in those.

The room and the hotel amenities were just okay. I wouldn't rate this a 5 star hotel. 4 star at best. Rooms were clean, the bed was comfy. The breakfast was average. The view from the restaurant and bar at the top floor was fabulous. I would stay there again if the room rate was a little cheaper.

The check-in staff were not very friendly and did not explain any of the amenities of the hotel to us. The lounge staff were also kind of snobby. They did not even direct us to the breakfast buffet area. I had to ask where the orange juice etc were at. The room was exceptional though. It extremely clean and the view was just incredible.

We had a club room which was amazing free drinks and snacks for our two day stay. Love the Bar as well on the next floor above the club room. But make sure you don’t take your drinks between the two they don’t like it!
