It was a lovely place to spend time outside of the busy Tokyo touring, and it was a short walk to a couple of konbini and a train station. Hong was an amazing host as well. If I find myself back in Tokyo with a group I would stay there again.

Hong is an excellent Host and the descriptions are all accurate! He communicated with me before arrival to Tokyo and checked to make sure everything was okay upon check in. I would definitely stay at this property when I return to Tokyo.

Nice property, clean and spacious

The property is in a really nice area with easy access to stations. It is up a bit of a hill so be aware if you have those with reduced mobility. The house was clean with lots of amenities. Good contact from the host, who was friendly and messaged regularly. The only slightly weird thing was there was a decibel alarm in the living room, which honestly felt a bit big brother and intrusive, but I guess they have had bad experiences in the past with people not being respectful of the neighbours and making excessive noise. It’s not a deal breaker and won’t be a problem if you aren’t making lots of noise and just generally being respectful human beings, but we have two small kids including a baby which meant it did go off when they cried, which wasn’t very helpful in all honesty. It wouldn’t stop me staying again, but it would have been nice to know it would be there and explain why so we could be prepared for it. Other than that it’s a great property in a great location, clean and with everything you need, I would recommend.

Great for large groups

Came with a group of 12 individuals and we had a very good time. Appreciate the plethora of instructions and guides around the complex. The noise sensor was a bit strange but made sense why it was included. Also the free amenities were a nice and welcome surprise

House is very well suited to large familys. We are a family of 7 adults and 5 children. Communication with Hong was fantastic, he was very helpful and responded quickly to all messages. Would highly recommend this accommodation

Homey, Spacious and a quiet neighborhood.

Mr. Hong is wonderful to work with and everything went smoothly. This is a detached house in a quiet residential neighborhood, which is what my wife and I wanted to experience in Japan.It's spacious with a nice-sized living room and a full-sized kitchen/dining area. Note that the third floor has two of the bedrooms but the bathrooms are only on the first and second floor.

Wonderful location and setting for family vacation

The host Mr Hong and his wife are amazing hosts and we had excellent communication with them at every step. The house met all our needs and requirements as well as being clean and orderly. Wonderful home and host

I stayed at this home for 9 days with 10 other adults and it was an absolute joy. The house was clean, the host was extremely friendly, and when we arrived there was a bowl of treats awaiting us. One of the doors to the bedrooms was broken but after notifying the owner he was prompt in his response and promised to fix it. We also were able to meet the owner as we left and he was super kind and offered to not only drive us to the airport but also let us stay a little later in the house while waiting for taxis since it was so hot outside.

An oasis in Toyko

We had a very stay nice 11 night stay at this house in Tokyo. Hong was an excellent and friendly host. He stopped by and dropped off cookies for us and was very responsive to any questions we hd. We had 10 family members in our party and we all had beds and were very comfortable. The house everything you need for a comfortable stay in Tokyo. We were very busy and traveled throughout Toyko and beyond. The subway is easily accessible from the house and it provided an oasis to return to after a busy day in Tokyo. If we returned, we would stay in this house again.

Great stay for a large group

We had a small family reunion visiting my brother in Tokyo. This space was perfect for a large family -- plenty of space, lots of extra beds, a clothes washer, and good AC. It's about 8 minutes to the nearest train station, and we were about to get to places on the other side of Tokyo within 40 minutes. Hong was very responsive, and the check-in process was very smooth.

Fantastic family visit stay close to Shinjuku

This wonderful and large home seems more new or recently updated. Everything was modern, clean and supplies (toiletries, slippers, towels, kitchen basics, tea, coffee, creamer) were plenty for our group of 6 stay for three nights. Washer-dryer all in one unit on third floor. Two toilets and two showers (one Western and one Japanese style) in the home. The home book explained everything about the home and how to operate all the appliances making it easy for all of us to feel at home. There is a security camera at the front door. Communications with the host was often and clear (before checkin, at checkin, close to the end of the stay, at the end and immediately after our stay). The area is nice. A quiet neighborhood walking distance (going to is easy, coming back is a little harder as it is uphill back to the home) to a small town with a convenience store, pachenko, small restaurants and bars and a yummy bakery. There are a couple of train stations close by and we found it very easy to get to larger Shinjuku and Tokyo. Need to walk closer to town to attract a taxi, so we used Uber with ease. Our group stayed in a capsule, a Ryokan, a western style hotel, and this home on our visit to see relatives. This home was our favorite. I hope we are privileged enough to return to Japan soon. We will definitely see if we can return to this home. Thank you.

Thank you Hong! This is my first reservation on Vrbo, but Hong was very polite and quick reply on messages, so I was not worried at all. We changed the numbers of travelers halfway, and Hong was willing to respond, thank you very much! The room was bigger than I thought and my friends they all were particularly satisfied. Next time I still want to stay here!

閑静な高級別荘

静かな高級住宅街にある大きく清潔な別荘で、3階から遠くまで展望出来た。ベットルームも寝心地が最高でした。生活用品が充実で共有スペースも広く、大人数団体の宿泊にも適する。繁華街の新宿にも近く、次回東京に来る時もここを利用したい。 A large, clean villa in a quiet luxury residential area with a view from the third floor to the distance. The bed room was also very comfortable. Good for daily necessities, wide shared space, suitable for large groups. It is close to downtown Shinjuku and I want to stay here again when I come to Tokyo next time.
