Simply the Best

Wonderful comfortable apartment with breathtaking views. Everything has been thought of and provided if you wish to cook but there are great places to eat nearby. A special mention to Tide & Thyme for its amazing food. Lovely local walks to enjoy.

Beautiful property in a perfect location

Very well equipped apartment, super comfortable bed and of course stunning views. Very happy with everything and hope to return one day.

Findhorn visit September 2025

Findhorn was well equipped, bar no tea towels , in an excellent location & we all enjoyed our stay . The drive entrance was very tight & could do with widening. The notes in the apartment highlighted this and we parked over the road after the first day. Loved the area and definitely worth a visit

The flat was very well fitted out and very comfortable. The views from the living room bay window and from the main bedroom, across the Kyles of Bute, were beautiful.

We absolutely loved our stay at Upper Findhorn The property is at a beautiful location As soon as we stepped in, we felt welcomed and relaxed All rooms were clean and comfortable There is everything you could need , and lots of cutlery, bowls and plates, glasses etc We can't wait to come back

Loved Upper Findhorn, amazing views, great location, lovely apartment highly recommended. Walking distance to local hotels/bar, we sat at night and enjoyed the view with a local seal making daily appearance. Must visit Carry Farm Shore walk and Ostley Bay stop at the Bothy for a bite.

Absolutely what we were looking for.

Great apartment in a great setting. Peaceful and relaxing and will definitely be going back. Wasnt a problem to us but steps leading up to the property could be an issue for older people or someone who has problem with extremely steep steps.

Beautiful, comfortable and calm

We spent a wonderful few days in this comfortable and calm apartment. We had everything we needed, we were warm and cosy, and the views took our breath away. Close to little shops and a nice pub, with lovely walks nearby, as well as spectacular beaches. We’ll be back!

Gorgeous location with amazing views from living room

A well equipped apartment for two of us to stay - as shown in the photographs on the site. The highlight was sitting in the chairs in the window seat. Good communication from the owners about getting into the property and ideas of walks etc. I think if the beds were full (it can sleep 5) the small bathroom and fitting around the kitchen table might have been an issue but for the two of us it was great.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Findhorn Upper Apartment, and I can confidently say that it was a delightful experience. The view from the front window was a pleasure to behold with my morning cuppa and a slice of toast! The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The peacefulness of the Findhorn Upper Apartment cannot be overstated. Located in a quiet location with pub a 20 minute walk away. It was the perfect setting for a peaceful getaway, allowing me to fully recharge and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. What truly impressed me was how well-equipped the apartment was. The kitchen had everything I needed to prepare meals, and the modern appliances made cooking a breeze. Overall, my stay at the Findhorn Upper Apartment was thoroughly enjoyable. It provided all the comforts of home in a peaceful and picturesque setting. Whether you're looking for a relaxing retreat or a base for exploring the area, I highly recommend this apartment for its comfort, tranquility, and excellent amenities. A briiliant getaway

I rented Findhorn Upper Apartment for a week for some much needed time out. The contact from Argyll Holidays and the owners direct was timely and helpful. The apartment was perfectly situated and i could sit in that bay window all day. The bed was exceptionally comfy and the kitchen well stocked. I'm already working out when we can come back as a family! A brilliant find in a great location!

Lovely apartment freshly decorated with fabulous view. Very comfortable sitting room with an efficient heating system. However,the second double bedroom is tight on space and the shower room sink is tiny. The kitchen does not have a chopping/breadboard which had been mentioned before but still not supplied.

A very secret coastline.

Wonderful location and a comfortable apartment. It is a very quiet and peaceful area with lovely walks and places to visit within a short distance.

Great location

Gorgeous views onto the water from a lovely large lounge. Great equipped kitchen for easy entertainment. Brilliant location with great food serving hotel within walking distance. The only negatives were the shower room was constantly wet due to a gap at the bottom of the shower door. Also the second double bedroom was very small and impractical for 2 adults to sleep comfortably, however, the single room was there and was useful. I must say that the above did not in any way spoil our holiday, but worth mentioning in case any larger people were wanting to stay . The information provided was great and the owners were very helpful and clearly have spent a lot of time and love on the property.

Absolutely perfect

I really cannot say enough good things about this beautiful apartment. Firstly, it is in one of the most beautiful parts of the world. We discovered Argyll and Bute last year and were absolutely blown away by its beauty and swore to go back and when we saw Findhorn we were really excited to return. The first thing that strikes you is the location. You are right on the water on the Kyles of Bute and the apartment has its own private pebble beach. The view from the living room window is breathtaking and you could just spend hours sitting looking at the view. The apartment itself is very clean and comfortable. The hosts have thought of everything - wonderfully comfy beds with squashy pillows and fluffy duvets, a really well stocked kitchen, beautiful decor....it feels really homely and welcoming. We loved the property so much we spent a lot of time around it walking, kayaking, running so we didn't really venture out that far. The Kames Hotel is down the road and a lovely place for a drink and Tighnabruich is also only 2 miles away and a lovely walk with lots more bars and restaurants if you are looking to eat out. I would thoroughly recommend the apartment to anyone in a heartbeat.
