Presence of mold- we went to the room that was assigned to us. We were hit immediately with a strong odor of wet carpet. I don’t know if they had a flood recently. So we asked for another room and the front desk got us another one that had less of an odor. The room and hallways had dehumidifiers running. Our room also had a scent machine there to probably mask the odor. I hate to do this but it appears that the owners/managers are aware of the situation and have used dehumidifiers and scent machines to hide the issue. Hope they fix the issue.

It said breakfast buffet, there was cereal, which is aleays a key factor in why we stay somewhere. I listed 4 guest, only had 2 towels. Asked for 3 more the next day, only had 2 available. Dead bug on room floor. Key didnt work the 2nd day. Hair dryer crumbled to pieces when attempted to use.

Bed was comfortable and clean. The rest of the room and property were a bit tired and needed to be replaced or updated. I would say that it is rated a bit too high and also was a bit overpriced. Despite that we did sleep well.

Front desk staff was new and tried his best but took a while to check in, my door to my room was difficult to open and the room/doorframes had lots of scratches on walls, falling apart. Breakfast buffet was listed and a big factor in me booking this hotel. When we went downstairs for breakfast at 9am on a Sunday, we saw a bag of bagels by a toaster, no hot foods like eggs or quite literally anything else, so we walked to the Cracker Barrel close. I was very disappointed in my stay after how highly the hotel was rated.

The hotel was clean and the rooms were comfortable, but if you are on the wrong side of the hotel the highway noise is deafening. Also the beds were quite stiff, and there’s no elevator in the building

It was quiet! I have stayed at that location before and they had an elevator that went to the second floor. But not now. NO ELEVATOR was awful.... Luggage up and down the stairs, NO HELP, but they have carts for the first floor.... NO King Suits on the first floor, only the second. The first room we were in the pull out couch was broken. There was cracks in the walls. And to top it off there was roaches on the bed and the floor. NOT a good night the first night at all. We had already paid for the room for the week and really just would have like to have our money back for the stay but they moved us to a different room still on the second floor, but did not see any roaches in that room and the pull out couch was better. I will never stay in that hotel again. I needed some milk in the middle of the night so I went down stairs to get some from the breakfast area but the clerk said the refrigerator was locked and he didn't have the key so I had to leave the hotel and find a store to purchase a whole gallon of milk just for a cup that was needed. $8 for a gallon of milk that could have been avoided if the clerk had just allowed me to get a cup. RUDE!!! Never again will I stay there! The same people that owned it the last time I stayed, well they are no where to be found now. It has new owners as do most of the hotels in Lake Park GA.

Room was clean and comfy. It was good for our family of 4 for a one night stay on our way to FL. Small bathroom so not much room for privacy to change clothes if traveling with others. Not a big deal for us luckily. Breakfast was grab and go toast, bagels, cereal, & fruit. A little disappointed it wasn’t hot breakfast but it was fine. Would stay here again.
