The staff at Super 8 in Fernley were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They offered extra shampoo, conditioner, and soap and told me to let them know if I needed anything. The only thing I could suggest to make it better would be to get new pillows and try to whiten the sheets a little. Overall, it was very good and I would stay there again.

A/C was broken and there was only 1 room available. When asked for a refund she stated she couldn’t refund me my $. To top it off I asked for a room one the first floor, and she said there was only one room Left. Well when checking in, the room was located on the 2nd floor.

Property was dirty, room was dirty floors were grimey, hair and used toilet paper on floor. The shower knob was broken and couldn't adjust the temperature and just spun around as the screw was stripped.

Hotel Slum Lord

It was one of the dirtiest rooms ever stayed at. Stains on bedding, Entire bathroom was discusting from stain on bathroom door, shower walls and shower curtain lining had brown stains. From the homeless person sleeping outside our room to a couple quarreling which could be heard inside our room. Hotel choices were hard to come by otherwise we would have gone somewhere else. DO NOT STAY HERE!

The rooms were extremely dirty as were the sheets and towels. Additionally, the police had to come because of a domestic disturbance that woke the entire hotel. Screaming, threats, slamming doors, profanity. It was awful and no one got any sleep.

6/25/2025 Worst experience ever !!! My reservation was confirmed and paid for and upon arrival to hotel, the clerk would not check me in because the front office said I had no reservation!!! I have and copied the front office my emailed showing my receipt for a “Book reservation “ and it did not help , my bank cleared my payment to Expedia. Expedia was on phone with front office for hours and we had to pay again for our reservation and we got double charge! I will be writing to BBB file a complaint on Expedia and hotel Marie Romo

Don’t stay here! It has a pool but it’s closed! The breakfast was too scary to eat. The room was horrible. No switch plate on electrical outlet. The bathroom was so dirty. I had to have a shower and the water was either hot or cold depending on what I assumed another room was using. Looks like they are painting the rooms with spilled paint everywhere! Plus someone sideswiped our motorcycle it’s a trike in the parking lot!!!! And this place was sold out?? I need my money back!
No plate cover. A child could get hurt badly by this!

The “hotel” was so dirty, the towels and sheets were gross, there wasn’t any soap in our room, and it had a smell of weed, cigarettes, and dogs. The worst part was when at 1:30 in the morning people started fighting, yelling and slamming doors. The front desk refused to help. The police came at some point and then it finally quieted down, but we left before 8:00 am to get out of that place. Absolutely horrible night.

I really like this hotel, as its location is convenient and Ranch House Restaurant and Silverado Casino is right across the parking lot. Fernley is a nice town that’s easy to get into and out of.

I chose the pay later option. They charged me before I even checked in for the whole three nights. I didn't go into my room until 10:15pm, remembered to check the bed. Found a bed bug crawling around. Checked another corner and there was a cluster of bed bugs. I grabbed all our stuff and went to the front desk and told the lady working. She didn't seem surprised there was bed bugs and told me there were no other rooms available. I asked to cancel and receive a refund. I was told I needed to call back in the morning to talk to manager. Called the next day and the manager was not going to be in until the next day. Called the next day and talked to manager and was told I would have to email the general manager. I had already emailed the email she gave me when I left the hotel the first night and have not heard anything back. They did cancel two nights and charged me for only one night even though I never stayed.
