Graduation family stay

We enjoyed our stay. Master bedroom/bath was fabulous. Very spacious home overall. Outdoor areas and pool were very inviting. We utilized the kitchen, pool, outdoor areas, garage games, and volleyball court. We had family from out of state for our twin daughters graduation so we rented for them to stay and us spend time together. We were to check out on Friday, and head to our lake house for holiday, but due to major flooding and severe weather there, we needed to stay another day, and the owners were helpful and accommodating to make that happen for us. Few cosmetic issues in house, hinge on door off guest bathroom, toilet seat needs replaced in 1/2 bath, few holes/blemishes on walls. Beds only had fitted sheets, no top sheet. Set of towels in all bathrooms, some did not have any in them. House is probably due for spraying for insects in the house. We are used to country so no bother to us. No remote control that works for living room tv. Garage needs a good sweeping and outdoor sink and counters need cleaned periodically. None of these are things that would keep us from returning. We enjoyed this property and its amenities.

Great for large families that just want to hang out and have tons of space and land!

Property was amazing! The covered pavillion is so great to hang outside and chill! Clean and easy check in process. Highly recommend!

I loved the location a lot. Just wish the weather would have been way better. We all enjoyed it. Very clean and the beds were comfortable. I definitely want to book this one again when we come to ride in dallas.

Huge house with so many fun things

The ranch house was perfect for our large group of friends. The outside spaces were ideal for hanging around the fire out, enjoying outdoor snacks, and even playing a competitive game of indoor pickleball.

Christmas Getaway

The Terrell place was perfect for my family. We had all ages and everyone had plenty to do. The living and dining gave plenty of comfortable options for us to sit, and the bedrooms were spacious. The outdoor area was beautiful and the extra garage space was perfect for pickleball!

Family time

Great place for the 11 of us to gather and visit as an all adult family (25-85). Enjoyed the outdoor gathering spaces and large dining area for meals. Nice, clean place, but could use a little refreshing and handyman work.

Delayed or deferred maintenance is becoming noticeable

Family birthday celebration of father, grandfather and husband. Pool needed attention. - The storm that was being blamed had happened weeks ago. The deferred maintenance on the property was very noticeable. The day we left there was activity. Two of the tv monitors are still not functioning. The dishwasher has issues. The freezer in the kitchen wasn’t cold enough to freeze neewak The microwave turntable doesn’t rotate. Some pillows need to be replaced- We went to town and bought some. Bath room by the out door kitchen needed to be cleaned. The refrigerator in tbr garage was very dirty.

Nice country getaway

Our family spent 3 nights at the Terrell Ranch House during the 3rd week of June, 2024. The property was close to DFW, but remote enough to feel like a true getaway. We had 14 family members show up, from grandparents to grandchildren and all had a great time. Positives: 1. Nice clean, well stocked house with ample room for our group. 2. Beautiful outdoor entertainment area with pool, kitchen, fire pit with seating, hammocks, furniture. 3. Ample parking, lots of trees and privacy. 4. Power to the pool pump went out one morning and owner was quick to send someone to fix. Negatives: 1. Outdoor gas grill needs repairs or replacing. Some controls do not function properly and are not safe, so use at your own risk. 2. There are 2 large screen TV's outside, but neither one worked for us. We reported to owner but nothing was done to fix the issue. 3. The house is located in the country, so various varmints can be expected. But a visit by an exterminator might be in order. The area where the house is located sustained some damage from recent storms, so there are numerous downed or damaged trees around. However, most of the greenery nearest the house still looks good and didn't impact our enjoyment of the property. Overall, we were mostly satisfied with the property and would likely stay again. A few fixes would make things more desirable for the future.

Establishment Barn Wedding

Booked this for the weekend of my daughter's wedding at The Establishment Barn. It was 20 min away and perfect! The house is gorgeous! 15 adults slept beautifully. Hot tub was a fun outdoor spot! Huge fridge (plus one in garage) for leftover wedding food. Plenty of bathrooms! Wish we could've stayed longer!

Thanksgiving Reunion 2022

This property has amazing amenities for a family gathering. The outdoor spa/pool and kitchen area are amazing. There are a few fixes in the house that need to occur like bathrooms- door knobs, wobbly toilets, and drains. The beds were super comfortable. Beautiful home! Our family enjoyed our stay!

Wedding Party Retreat

Daughter got married around the corner and this was perfect as we could let the bridesmaids stay with us. Weather was to cold to use pool but enjoyed the hot tub. Plenty of room for out of town guests to stop by and visit the day after once the newlyweds returned. Outdoor space is great.

Perfect location for wedding weekend

This home is the perfect place to stay if you are having a wedding at Chandelier Farms. 5 minutes from the wedding venue. It is a beautiful home and I wish we could have relaxed more and enjoyed the backyard oasis. I could imagine our family hanging by the pool, grilling and enjoying family games. The property managers were very helpful and accommodating to our needs. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great location for wedding at Chandelier Farms

We loved the property as it was close to our daughter's wedding venue at Chandelier Farms. The property was so spacious and quiet and set back off the road. We loved hanging outdoors too. It was so nice to come back and relax after a big wedding. We would definitely stay there again if we are in the area. The owner was very responsive to a few questions we had when we first arrived. Thank you!

Great for large families!

We stayed at the VRBO during my son’s wedding weekend. We enjoyed the family friendly house that had lots of amenities for families…our favorites were the backyard & the ping pong table. Kitchen has a decent supply of pots, pans, and baking items. Many could use an updated. As typical with most VRBO rentals their knives are very dull making cooking a bit more challenging. Overall it was a great home base for us during our wedding festivities at The Emerson in Kaufman. The venue was only 20-25 minutes away.

Must stay place in Texas

Great place to stay if you have multiple families with kids want to hangout. Pool is and hot tub are big. Outdoor kitchen, badminton court, ping pong table all are great additions. Lot of stuff to do for a weekend. The house is beautifully furnished and kitchen is well stocked. If you are in Texas, you much checkout this beautiful piece of paradise!

Private Spacious and Great Value

Great value! Very private and spacious house, very comfortable, well maintained, nice big kitchen with formal dining room and kitchen tables, big garage, large capacity fancy washer and dryer, lots of parking area, and great backyard/patio/outdoor kitchen/grill/pool/hot tub! Excellent property amenities

Great decor and furniture. Lots of room. Garage games were fun. Loved the dish tv setup with lots of movie channels. Tons of Televisions inside and out... dish has music channels with was awesome for outdoors. Outdoor setup is pretty spectacular. You can hear vehicles from the road but we just put the music on. Firepit was amazing and the fireplace inside the grilling area. Bring marshmallow sticks if you don't want to use sticks. Ice worked!! Most rentals don't have ice or filtered water. Huge plus. Folding tables and chairs in garage if needed, 3 refrigerators Awesome washer/dryer. Large capacity Was hoping with 14 acres my boy could run, but we were able to drive to the hs. Really not a lot of space cleared out to use. Cows gated in the front on some acres which were fun to see Would recommend bringing a pitcher, sauce pans not good, baking dish and I couldn't find extra sheets Communication before was only one-way (evolve emails often). I emailed a few questions but never got a reply. Called and left a message but no reply, However once there we didn't have any communication issues.
