Great location but not clean for expensive cleaning fee
While the location and spacious bedrooms were positive aspects, our experience with this home was marred by several downsides. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a strong mold and mildew odor that clung to our clothes throughout the weekend. Despite the high cleaning fee, the house was dirty, with filthy bathrooms, spider webs, and grime. The fireplace was non-functional, and the furniture in the living room could barely accommodate five people, despite the claim that the house accommodates seven. The king bed was essentially two twin beds pushed together, and the large bedroom listed as a queen and double bed actually had a twin. When we raised our concerns, the owner initially offered a refund but later retracted it, trusting the cleaning company's assessment over ours. As respectful renters, we expected better for the expensive cleaning fee. We won't be returning.
