De locatie is onovertroffen: een eeuwenoud kasteel met enkele woningen er omheen. Kasteelheer Luca (20e generatie!) verwelkomde ons persoonlijk met warmte en enthousiasme, in uitstekend Engels. Ons appartement had een knusse woonkamer, een piepklein keukentje, een nieuwe badkamer en twee ruime slaapkamers. Het is nauurlijk een middeleeuws gebouw, dus alles is een beetje scheef, maar dat is juist ook de charme. En het blijft binnen lekker koel door de dikke muren. De (gedeelde) binnentuin heeft een mooi uitzicht; er is verlichting voor 's-avonds en er staan tafels en stoelen met kussens. Luca geeft graag een persoonlijke rondleiding met wijnproeverij. We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad.
