Has a motel like ambiance, which is not a problem if the rates are a couple hundred bucks but obviously not the case. Very small bathrooms, you can shower and use the toilet at the same time. Forget 2 people in the bathroom; impossible!

First time staying on this side of the island. It is further from most of the action. It was nice to see the ocean from parts of the property. We did not have an ocean view. Construction by the city was unpleasant and not the hotel's fault, but we should have been forwarned. I complained from day one about a deadbolt that did not work and it was never addressed. Other than that, the staff was very pleasant and cheerful. The Pineapple pool could have used some cleaning every day - leaves and such. It was very convenient to our rooms.
