Comfortable apartment in a good location.
We enjoyed our stay in The Salford, St Petersgate. Good location close to the centre of Stockport. There were a few minor issues but I would definitely recommend staying at this property.
There were just 3 of us and the accommodation was comfortable, however if there were more than 4 it might be a bit cramped - there are only 2 chairs around the kitchen table.
The apartment itself was very clean but the communal stairs needed a hoover when we arrived so first impressions were not good. Once inside the apartment it was clean and well equipped, but a coffee table in the lounge would have been useful.
The communication from the property managers was excellent - we were sent a booklet and had several emails and texts prior to our arrival to explain the procedure and also a follow up a phone call and text to check all was ok once we'd arrived.
We had a problem when the toilet macerator went wrong but again the management company were excellent. The problem was fixed the same day and communication from them was very good, immediately answering my call and keeping me informed.
One last thing to note is there is no on-site parking at this property despite what it says on the Hotels.com site. However, there is a car park right at the back of the property which is easily accessible and costs £8 for 24 hours.
