SLEEPS 9 - Nuestra auténtica cabaña de troncos fue construida a principios de los años 1930 y ha sido recientemente restaurada. Se encuentra en casi 300 acres pacíficas a lo largo del río Meramec y tiene frente al río para que usted disfrute. Tenemos acceso al río fácil y una pequeña barra de grava. Los paseos en bote en canoa o balsa pueden estar disponibles con reserva por un cargo adicional. # 1 dormitorio tiene una cama matrimonial, tocador antiguo, y una chimenea. El camarote tiene una cama de matrimonio, una cama individual, y un conjunto de literas. La parte trasera porche comedor con capacidad para 12 personas y cuenta con un montón de espacio para juegos y actividades (tenemos varios para elegir o traer su propia). Hay un televisor, cable y reproductor de VCR / DVD (también tenemos algunas películas), pero no hay Internet ... ¡PERFECTO! La cocina está equipada también! ¡Hay espacio para armar una carpa (o varias por un cargo adicional)! Relajarse lejos del estrés en nuestra escapada tranquila y hacer muchos nuevos recuerdos. Este lugar es el lugar perfecto para alejarse de todo y 'áspera' mientras disfruta de las comodidades del hogar!

Perfect Escape!

We stayed here over the holiday weekend of 4th of July 2024. Had such a wonderful time enjoying the property. LOVED the river and hope to be back there again this year!

Great getaway

We really enjoyed our time here We spent a lot of time at the gravel bar on the river - our dog loved playing in the water The cabin was decorated cute with lotus of old charm lots of fire wood for night time enjoyment Would love be to make this a yearly trip

Relaxing and Peaceful

This is a great place!!! Elaine was wonderful to work with and full of great information!! We mostly hung out at the river, we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back! If you wan seclusion this is the place for you!!!

Beautiful, isolated and accommodating

We really enjoyed our fall trip there. The cabin was one of the best parts of the trip. We went to see the cave and hike but the cabin was truly a lovely experience by itself. The hosts were very accommodating when we needed wood or Wi-Fi. (My phone was on the brink).

Wonderful Rustic cabin

Due to weather, we spent most of our time at the cabin. Which was a great time. Games were available and we enjoyed smores and the fire pit. All around nice experience. Would highly recommend it to others to stay there.

Great Cabin, scenery and location

Love the cabin and the fact you have no neighbors well except the cows. So pretty and trail to river was fun for the bunch of us. Can't wait to return when we have warmer weather so we can float the river. Owners are wonderful to work with and very helpful. A+++

Short getaway

We didn’t get to stay long but we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. It rained but there was so much to do in the cabin it was great! The river access is so nice. Just a half mile from the cabin in the truck. You take all you need and have it all with you! The inside was so nice and rustic. Had a great big tub/shower and comfy bed!

Adorable and rustic

It was a cute little cabin. We enjoyed playing games and skipping rocks. It was so cute! The only downfall was the driveway. We would stay again if we visit our son at college.

Great place to stay

My family had a wonderful time. The cabin was wonderful. A variety of movies to watch, the kids loved the Tic Tac Toe & Checkers games. The boys loved exploring the outdoors. River access was very close. the clearing by the river with a picnic table was nice. My son-in-law was so impressed, he says he wants to buty it!

Perfect Cabin Getaway

The property was just as listed. Great location, great directions, and the perfect peaceful weekend in the country. We enjoyed the firepit/grill area and sitting on the front porch watching the cows and wildlife. We loved sitting by the river and the path to access the river was easy to navigate. The cabin is close to many activities, we loved the area. The host was timely in responses and we would highly recommend this cabin to all who want to escape to the country.

Couples Getaway!

Such a relaxing weekend! Four of us (2 couples) stayed the weekend and just relaxed and had a wonderful time. We spent a day down at the river, and the rest of the time we hung out in the cabin or around the fire. What a great way to unplug! Kitchen was well equipped. Owners very responsive! Highly recommend!!

Love this place!

This is my 4th stay here, absolutely love it! I always sleep great here, love waking up to the birds and cattle! Everyone I bring here with me asks when we can come back to THE cabin. Elaine is very helpful and responds quickly. Feel that this is my home away from home. About 15 min from one of the best trout parks in Missouri. Thank you Elaine and Family😘😘😘

Away from it all

Amazing property that is appropriately named! The cabin is clean and stocked with everything you could need for an old-fashioned relaxing getaway (and wifi if you happen to have a teenager who HAS to connect with his friends 😉). Shower was hot, kitchen was stocked, beds were comfortable! Owner is super friendly & responsive. Book it. You won’t be disappointed!

Wonderful Get-a-way!

My bestfriend and I needed a weekend away from life and this place was just what we needed! We enjoyed the rustic charm of the cabin and the absolute peace and quiet (except for the occasional mooing cow.) We watched old movies, slept in, did a little fishing in the river, spent an entire day antiquing in the little nearby towns and had a wonderful time together. No kids, no noise, no hustle and bustle. We are already making plans to return and bring more girlfriends with us next time!

Relaxing weekend

We had an amazing weekend despite the rain. The cabin was perfect to just sit and relax. The property afforded us total privacy with only the pleasing sounds of nature. We were visited by a buck on the first morning and watched a couple of fawn prancing near the banks of the Meramac. We even caught a couple different varieties of fish that we released since they were too small. We can’t wait to book this cabin again! Thank you Elaine fir being an awesome host.

Peaceful retreat

We were truly able to breathe and relax at this lovely, secluded farm. The 360 degree views of pastures and trees gave us the escape from the city we were seeking, and the antiques and decor made us feel like we were truly staying in a historic retreat, which we were! Our 4 and 6 year old boys really enjoyed the freedom to run around, and had fun watching all of the neighboring cows. It was a bonus for us that there were toys and movies to entertain us on rainy days. We will return!

Treasure on the farm

A quick trip from the city. We had a memorable time at this quaint cabin. The river was a refreshing treat, just a short walk down the farm's road. So you can bring you kayak and float the Meramac or rent a boat near by. My dogs ran and played until they dropped. Games are provided in a wonderful sunroom. A complimentary bag of ingredients for Smores was a treat. We definitely will be back and suggest friends to book also.
