What We Love
This serene Statesboro home comes lined by trees, is beautifully furnished, and is fully stocked with all of the amenities you love to have while on vacation! Enjoy a peaceful and quiet setting, allowing you to relax and unwind with ease.
Spend your days under the sun while playing in the home's expansive yard. Here, you can swim in the turquoise water of the private pool, unwind in the bubbling warmth of the hot tub, read in the glamping tent, indulge in barbecued alfresco meals, and admire great sunsets as colorful orange and pink hues adorn the sky above. Do all of this while enjoying views of Old Mill Pond. Hiking trails, boating opportunities, and fantastic fishing and hunting are also available nearby. An outdoor shower provides great convenience.
As you walk inside Georgia’s Nature Retreat on Old Mill Pond, you'll instantly take notice of the grand formal living room, full kitchen, and spacious dining area. The chef of your family will delight in the kitchen's well-stocked countertops and stainless steel appliances.
After catching up over a family-style meal at the dining table, head for the family room where you can tune into your favorite shows and movies on the 75" TV. Couple that with popcorn from the popcorn machine there and you will think you're sitting in a theater. There are water views from every window creating a tranquil atmosphere. When you'd prefer to engage in some playful competition, the home boasts several board games and an Xbox One.
The home's bedrooms are equally plush and inviting with their high-quality linens, ceiling fans, and tasteful decorations. Three individual cots provide additional sleeping options. With perks like central air-conditioning and a private washer/dryer, all of your needs will be met.
When you'd like to get out and explore Statesboro and the surrounding area, be sure to check out The S&S Greenway. Georgia Southern University is a short 15 minutes from home and the botanical garden is also a must-see. Downtown offers delicious dining and vibrant shopping opportunities.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa's good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
The homeowner lives onsite in a separate apartment.
The house is split into wings and completely blocked off. It's a sprawling ranch estate. The 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are a completely separate wing separated by a wall and a door. Guests will have access to the entire home except the garage and homeowner's private guest house/residence area. The guest entrance is through the front door only.
No more than 6 cars in the driveway. Trailers can pull up to the side of the pool.
The estate and the adjacent property are being maintained on a regular basis.
No street parking, driveway only.
To access the pond area - do so from the Main Street entrance. Read the rules posted at the pond house before fishing. A fishing License is required for fishing. No access into the pond house. No trash disposal at the pond house. Take trash with you and place trash in the bin located in the residence driveway. Up to 50,000 fine. Prior to fishing, send a picture of your fishing license in the reservation app. Non-motorized boats are allowed. A sign is posted with the daily fish limit and the types of fish.
There is no access to the suite that is attached to the home. Check-in is thru the front door only.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting 'Yes' to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The $20 nightly fee will apply for each additional dog.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 6 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
