HAMIEKA IS AMAZING ! My family and I got stuck here an additional two nights and she was so helpful from start to end . Her customer service was above and beyond from when we got to the hotel and even after . The gentleman with the golf cart is also so amazing . He was the best helping us get around the entire time . I will defer come back here. This is the kind of service one seeks when they leave the comfort of their own homes. They made everything feel great and not stressful ! Thank You!

We had an excellent stay. The pool area is beautiful and open until midnight. The restaurant we great. Food was good and they had entertainment almost every night of our visit. They were very helpful in getting us a taxi whenever we needed one as well. Greeting the staff with a "good morning" is island courtesy and they were all very pleasant with us. The only complaint I have is that it isn't really walking friendly. There are lots of steps from the rooms at the bottom of the property to the lobby, and with the property being so high up on the hill you can't really walk into the main street shopping area near the property...well you can't really walk back up anyways. Overall we had an excellent stay with a beautiful view of the bay. Our room was comfortable and clean.

Needs a facelift & attitude adjustment

The property is in rough shape. It was probably great in 1990! The bellman was rude. Everyone but the bartenders seem bothered to give service. The whole place seems like it’s ripping at the seams. Our room was comfortable enough but there were stray hairs all over the place. Gross! The food and drinks were okay, but it’s weird that they serve everything in styrofoam and plastic.

Nice stay, great views regardless of floor. Great beaches (especially Megan’s bay - walk all the way to the left it’s super secluded). The only negative things are: the food is mid, you have to taxi basically everywhere, and they rip you off as soon as they hear ur not from the island. Get a restaurant worker to call with the “island boy” accent and you’ll get a better rate.

I would absolutely stay here again! Great location. About $12-19 a person for a taxi most places. Love that th report takes care of a lot for you, need a taxi? They got it! Wasn’t crowded st all, room in the hot tub every night! Great food, good people! Events like live music and karaoke! Near the port making it easy to travel to other islands. Close to duty free shopping! Thank you for everything!

Pirates Pension was a Lovely place to stay. It was quiet with a well set up kitchen, and a gorgeous view of the harbour. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub every day. We spent a week touring around St. Thomas and St.John and this spot was perfect as a base. Please note it is up a hill so having a rental car like we did was ideal.

The rooms are really great and everything is clean. The slightly weird thing is there are still hurricane wrecks around the property. We dont mind that a bit and stay here all the time. The kitchenette is excellent for the 3 or 4 day work trips we do here.

The property is fine. A bit further from beautiful beaches but I knew that before arriving. However, the customer service is absolutely terrible. The front desk person is extremely rude, difficult to work with, and unfriendly. Other than enjoying the nice news of Havensight, my stay was average. With the attitude, I am for sure not going to come back nor recommend this place to anyone.

I am a frequent business traveler . I was provided no info at check-in about WiFi service. When I got to my room, I tried calling the front desk about 15 times to get an access code, but never got an answer (note, many of the hotel rooms are too far away from the lobby to walk there, especially at night). I then tried using the TV which was as complicated and unfriendly a system as I’ve ever experienced. Woke up this morning and tried calling the front desk to request a ride to the lobby, again, tried about 10 times with no answer. Eventually, security answered and basically told me to wait till someone showed up at the front desk because she didn’t have the keys for the golf cart. I ended up having to walk to the lobby, but when I got there, no one was at the front desk. Security told me someone would be there after 7. I left my key at the front desk and then had to figure out how to get a cab (but that’s another long, sordid story). This was my first and last stay at this facility.

I was not pleased by the ladies at the front desk. When I arrived, they did not ask if I’ve been there before or anything. As with other guests, (specifically other races), they gave them guides explained the process and how to get around the property. With me, I was piece milling everything together. In fact, they only told me about the $75 the morning I called to extend check out. (Again, wasn’t told of this process but that checkout was at 10). I wasn’t even aware of the food options, how to call a bell man or anything. With me being a content creator and knowing a lot of people - I cannot now recommend this property as I don’t want my friends and family lost or treated poorly by the front desk staff. Every time I’ve called to find out information, I was met with a nasty attitude as if I should have known or they should have told me when I arrived. No one told me anything! The island is gorgeous but find somewhere else to stay that’ll make you feel welcomed and honored to be a host. In addition, if you stay on at the hilltop please note it’s the same location. It’s just the other side of the property. This wasn’t advised to me either. I found out when I checked in again and she had a nasty attitude about me leaving my things in the room and someone would move them when my room was ready.

The Villa was huge with stunning views of the harbour, updated interior. Decor was perfect and very comfortable. Everything worked great. Huge Shower. Well equipped kitchen. This resort is on a very steep slope and roads and parking lots have potholes and rough old macadam. But that didn't bother me. Food was very good at the restaurant and very nice wait staff. I only stayed 2 days after a sailing trip. I would stay again.
