I tried to stay for new years and the place was dirty and it was no one at check in. Everything is digital and they told us that room cleaners was out for the night and that we had to stay anyway and didn’t even insist on giving a full refund until I told them my asthma was acting up. As well as the place was filthy and it’s not a hotel. More like a motel and people stay there and it smelled before we even made it to our rooms. The amenities were community based so nothing was in the room as far a kitchen and other little things.

Upon arrival the room had not been cleaned. I was on the phone with customer service (of the property) when housekeeping showed up. As he cleaned I asked the represetative to check for alternate rooms to put me in. She placed me on a really long hold and I am certain did not check on alternatives but came back and said "no options". I wasn't happy and was concerned the cleaner had rushed the cleaning. I requested compensation and was offered $50 and accepted. The other thing is their tedious pre-checkin process. They want a selfie a certain way and want an essay about yourself, claiming it helps them get to know you. I don't need staff in the UK knowing more about me, it's l

Nightmare

The check in was a nightmare. They did not give you complete instructions on how to use your code to get into the building. The building is nasty. The halls smell bad and are not clean. Stuff is broken. The hot water takes anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes to get and hardly any water pressure
