Mother's 90th birthday

Villa Solano was perfect for the 6 of us to stay and celebrate our mother's 90th birthday. Quiet neighborhood, great location, very close to her favorite restaurant Osteens and convenient to the beach. Just note that both bathrooms have ttubs

A quiet getaway

A spacious house in a quiet neighborhood not far from A1A and historic downtown St. Augustine. Comfortable beds and well-equipped kitchen. The hot tub was a nice bonus!

Great Home and Area

This was one of the best VRBOs I have stayed in. The property was clean and beautifully decorated in a vey nice and convenient neighborhood. We loved the large fenced in yard for our dog to run. We will definitely stay here in future visits!

Thanksgiving getaway!

The house was perfect for the five of us. Great location to downtown, perfect for walking and avoiding downtown parking. Clean, neat and beds were comfortable. It was a blessing to find pet friendly rental with a big fenced in yard for the pups to play. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Best for Couples

Please note a few things if you’re traveling with children: - No television sets in other rooms, so listing as “Queen Suites” is misleading. - No window treatments on patio and front door, so you have no control over visual access to the property. - Sign outside of property allows others to know that the home is a vacation rental. This served no purpose other than to announce we were temporary guests and possible targets for crime. - Host provided no guidance for storm preparation, but did send a request to be sure to collect dog feces from yard. - You do not have the option to park the car in the garage. “Gym equipment” prevents access. So again, you have no control over visual access to your family - Host did not allow an early checkin and did not allow a late check out though we were sleep deprived thanks to all night winds from Hurricane Helene. They did, however, answer all requests promptly, with cute emojis. -St. Augustine is not a very friendly place and the service that accompanied this rental was an extension of that. This is a beautiful property for a couple or close friends, but we cannot recommend the property for families. - Smart TV in living and Master made it difficult to access local programming, which was essential during a pending hurricane.

Quiet neighborhood-great location

The location of this house is great for getting to town and also to the beach. The pictures of the property are accurate. The yard is spacious and the rooms are nice size. Property manager is very responsive and reasonable.

Great vacation!

The house and yard were spacious, clean, and beautiful. We had a great time hanging out on the mostly shaded back deck and yard. Our dog LOVED the big yard. The house is close to several restaurants and we walked to the historic district.

Sweet St. Augustine

The property is well maintained and in an upscale neighborhood. The whole area is very pet friendly. It is conveniently located just minutes from the old city. There are several great beaches available within a 15 minute drive. There is also the shady, FULLY FENCED backyard and patio to enjoy at the end of the day.

Relaxing stay

The stay was very relaxing and beautiful. Our dog loved the back yard. The bedroom was huge and so comfortable and the kitchen was great and we cooked everyday. I like how close it was to everything too.

Splendid

All a breeze and comfortable. Lauren was especially responsive...warning for filters to be changed on the new fridge and the owner appeared in an hour with replacements. The Island is close to everything without being overly busy. Quiet. Very comfortable beds. Heard owls at night...with windows open. Nice backyard and deck. Would stay here again.

A short walk to the heart of St. Augustine

We did not know the area, nor how good our location would be. A pleasant surprise on all fronts. We have a dog who loved the spacious fenced yard. We would walk downtown over the bridge to the heart of the city for coffee each morning. Proximity to beaches on our side of the bridge was great. The home was nicely decorated and stocked. The garage was used as workout space...a bonus. Contact with owners was first class.

What a wonderful house!

The divided floorplan, with the huge master suite on one side and the other two bedrooms on the other side was ideal, especially since there is a door that closes off the wing with the two bedrooms. We were stunned at the beauty of this house when we first arrived! It's beautifully furnished - there was even a Christmas tree! The large back yard was perfect for our 4- and 5-year-old grandsons. Our host, Lauren, was very responsive to all of our communications, and just a delight to deal with. This was definitely a 5-star experience all the way around!

Excellent Property

Me, my husband, and our dog Max stayed here. It was a beautiful house! The yard was large and fenced in which was great for our dog. The master bathroom has a great soaking tub. The TVs were smart which was nice because we were able to log in to our streaming services. The neighborhood was very nice and the neighbors were friendly.
