Wonderful hotel right by the Bridge of Lions. Easy walking over the bridge into old St. Augustine. Best part was the amazing complimentary, gourmet breakfast! Nice staff, and we will stay there again.

Room was very nice. Clean. Roomy. Convenient location. Breakfast was awesome. But our room shower (room 109) had one issue. The safety rubber strips on the shower floor were practically worn off therefore it was very slippery in the shower. Kind of unsafe.

*An Intimate Escape on the First Coast* Our recent stay at the Marker 8 Hotel and Marina in Saint Augustine was, without question, one of the best experiences we've had along the First Coast. From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the welcome set the tone for a truly memorable visit. The check-in process was seamless and friendly, immediately making us feel not just like guests, but like valued friends. Entering our room, we were captivated by its comfort and thoughtful touches—every detail seemed designed to ensure relaxation and ease. The highlight, however, was undoubtedly the stunning view: from the terrace of the tranquil bay and the marina, a living painting that shifted with the light and tide. What truly distinguishes Marker 8 is its boutique spirit. The hotel’s smaller size grants it an atmosphere that is both personal and intimate. There is a sense of quiet exclusivity here, a respite from the bustle of larger resorts. It’s clear that care and attention have been poured into every aspect, from the inviting common spaces to the pristine grounds and the outdoor terrace that surrounds the spa. Throughout our stay, we felt enveloped by a genuine hospitality that is all too rare in today’s world. Great location.

It looked better in the photos than in reality. Pool was small but ok. Needs more shade areas. Included breakfast was average and could be simpler and better. Air conditioning in the room was old and noisy, not sure why this hss not be updated..? Overall small items and we still enjoyed our stay. Location is great..
