Upon arrival, we were given a room that had a warning tag on the door that said that an ozone machine was being used to clean the room. Rather than change your room, as we asked for, the front desk agent, removed the sign and removed the machinery, but did not let the room ventilate. Immediately upon entering, one of my guests had an asthma attack. We were told if we let it vent for a few hours, that the smell would disappear and everything would be fine. After spending a few hours in the city, we came back to our hotel and nothing had changed. We had gone to a new front desk agent who immediately changed our room with urgency, as this seems to be a concern to her. Our new room had no concerns – however, I did reach out to Hilton customer service to share our less than appropriate arrival experience. They shared that the property offered a one night refund for our inconvenience. However, the Hotels.com customer service team reached out to the hotel on my behalf, as I had not received any compensation, and their team shared that they did not issue a refund. Overall, a very disappointing experience from a customer service front, but the room is suffice if you’re trying to get to downtown St Augustine and the beach during your trip.

The room was comfortable. The breakfast was not free but available at a cost. Girl at check in was less that enthusiastic but the rest of the time they were great. I even had a maintence employee help me out with a situation that he was more than pleaset with.

The first room smelled of mold/mildew the AC was running but the room was hot. Moved to another room and it was ok. I paid for a second room for my parents. The toilet had to be played with to flush and the shower wasn’t clean. Front desk said they would send housekeeping up the next morning. They never arrived.

Room was clean, garden tub was AMAZING with the cooler weather. It was our first visit to St Augustine and the beginning was a bit bumpy but the manager Joe and his staff made our stay an incredible one!!! The guys making the fresh “made to order” breakfast were great and the front desk people were super friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will personally stay again if we come back to St Augustine!

Hotel is definitely in need of some TLC. Did not feel like a Hilton at all, but more like a motel. Bathroom has no ventilation and smelled of mildew with signs of issues around the baseboards. Check-in began at 3:00 and we arrived around 3:45 to allow a little extra time to avoid other arrivals. I was 2nd in line and waited in line for 25 minutes to check in only to be told our room wasn’t ready. Then waited while front desk worked with housekeeping to figure out if it was ready. The line behind me formed to around 20 more guests and the lobby was full. I was told I had to wait and allow everyone else to go ahead of me. My family and I waited over an hour and the entire lobby cleared out to finally be told our room was almost ready and they were waiting on linens to be finished. Front desk did wave the parking fee, but overall the check-in and overall hotel experience was not what we expected out of Hilton.

Walked into reception. Very friendly. Received 2 keys 2 bottles of water. 1 room key didn't work. Wanted to pour water in cup in room. ZERO cups. 2 coffee lids only. Went to dry hands. 5 wash clothes 2 large towels. No hand towels. 1/2 roll of toilet paper only. Bed sheets were not even put on bed correctly. Pillows were flat as pancakes. For the price we paid for our room is was definitely not worth it. I've stayed in many hotel rooms. Never again a Hilton. Some type of refund should most certainly granted. Location was good. Nice restaurant next door.
