My family stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for two nights. We arrived at the hotel at 3 pm and our room was not ready. We hung out in the lobby and room was ready at 3:30. The lady at the front desk, Daisy, was very helpful and friendly.
Our room was located on the 3rd floor towards the end of the hallway. We never heard noises from the hallway but could hear some noise from neighboring rooms (not a big deal). The room was clean and modern. It did have a slight dog smell though. The bathroom included shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, and lotion. Our room only had three bath towels but we had four people. I texted the front desk and housekeeping brought an additional towel within ten minutes.
We walked both days to the Historic Downtown. The walk took about 20-25 minutes each way. The Old Jail and and trolley stop #1 were close by (about 1 block away). There is a fee of $25 per day for parking at the hotel. I knew this before I booked the hotel but kinda annoying.
We didn’t spend a lot of time in the hotel or use many of the amenities. We glanced at the pool but it was closed while we were there. We did not include breakfast in our reservation so not sure how that is. Overall, our family had a nice stay at the Hilton Garden Inn.
