This is a great spot to stay for a few days without breaking the bank. Mattresses were very firm so I wasn’t thrilled, however everything else in the room was clean, and stocked. Restaurants are within walking distance and the boardwalk is directly across the street. Pool area was clean and indoors which was nice since we came in cooler temperatures.

The staff was very friendly and the hotel itself was centrally located. However, the room was not clean (sticky floor, hair in the bathroom, table not wiped down) and the room smelled strongly of old cigarette smoke. I would not choose to stay here again.

The area was safe and was in walking distance for food and beach. The room was clean. The staff was amazing! She gave us transportation information that made it easier for us to enjoy Nights of Lights. We were able to shuttle which made it much easier.

While the Regency is a very very basic hotel: no amenities or breakfast, it doesn't really matter. There's a convenience store right in front of it, a great restaurant next door, a great breakfast place 2 doors down, and most important of all - the nicest public AND state park beachs are right across the street. For what it is, it's very well kept and clean and clean is all that really matters to me. It was comfortable enough although I prefer a little bit softer bed. If you're on a budget, this is literally the best value for a hotel on the beach.
