The staff was very pleasant and willing to be helpful. The lobby and breakfast room were nice. My room needed fresh air I arrived - very stuffy. Room ok. Best Western was probably best option in small town.

The property and room were very clean. Loved the saltwater pool. Free breakfast exceeded our expectations.

The room, bedding and pillows smelled like stale smoke. For a non smoking room it was terrible. There was a large fresh pen scribble on one of the pillow cases. I was too tired to complain.

Pros: Friendliness and knowledge of the front desk staff.
Cons: update the individual room heating units.
Location: 56 Main Street Restaurant is an excellent choice for a quite meal.
The front desk staff was excellent at check in and recommended what turned out to be a great restaurant about 3 miles from the hotel. The guest rooms and hall areas are definitely dated, however the room was very clean. The biggest problem was the archaic heating system. It did not begin to keep an even temperature in the room and was quite loud. It had also not been cleaned in some time as evidenced by the amount of dust in the vent. Good selection of TV channels and the hotel was quiet. I cannot speak to the "hot" breakfast items, as they did not appeal to me, however the bagels were as hard as rocks, so I opted for an English muffin with peanut butter (couldn't find any butter in sight) and was on my way. I probably would look for a different hotel when travelling in that area in the future. I thought it was pricey given the location and condition of the hotel.

Excellent hotel experience - highly recommend

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet, Quiet, professionally operated
Most of the reasonably priced hotel/motels in this area are standalones geared for tourists and skiiers; they generally have low and unpredictable standards. This place, in contrast, is well-appointed and well-run - and still only 20 minutes from major ski areas. Stay here if you can.
