This place is unique. I'm sure it would be great for a group of young people. It was not the best fit for our family.The description says it sleeps 8, but 6 is the max. The "double sofa beds" in the living room are futons that lay flat like a platform. They are only supported on one side and are slightly wider than a twin bed. Can't imagine 2 people sleeping there togetherThe futons are in a wide open space with large windows/no window coverings - it is noisy and bright. The "bedroom" with the twin beds is also open to the main space, so when the sun is up it is brightCheck in was rough. I arrived alone at dusk. This property is surrounded by abandoned buildings & a vacant lot. There were 8-10 teenagers loitering by my car. Instructions for how to get in were confusing. I fumbled with the key without being able to open it. Called the emergency number - no answer, left a message, texted, emailed, then called again before I got a response. Turns out, the keybox on the railing you see first is not the one you want. Go up the stairs, turn left, and there are two more keyboxes there. One of those has the key This is a 3rd floor apartment with no elevator. The VRBO description does say there are 2 flights of stairs, but I missed that. I booked a hotel last minute for my mother - between the stairs and the lack of comfortable sleeping options, I couldn't ask her to stay there.Bathroom sink was brokenA microwave would be nice
