"The hotel is going through a major renovation. It is evident as the room we stayed in was beautifully updated but getting into the elevator, you could see the prior state of disrepair . The rooms themselves were lovely. We had a great sleep. They were clean and the beds were comfortable. The new tile in the bathrooms is very slippery so a word of caution to anyone with small kids or adults who may be prone to falling/slipping. We booked this hotel for our kids because of the pool and had fun at their pool however the pool itself looks pretty scuzzy. It was well below where the water level should be and had a murkiness to it. The pool deck is slippery. We would probably stay here again for the right price if just passing through for the night."

"Hotel is nothing what the photos show. I would not recommend to anyone to stay here. I had booked 2 rooms for the weekend to visit Montreal with friends who are newly engaged. Their first night at the hotel, there was BLOOD on their sheets. When we brought it to the attention to the front desk, their housekeeping went home so they couldn’t do anything about it. They made us have to change the sheet ourself!!! No new room or compensation. The hotels elevator only has one elevator that is exceptionally slow. When we first got inside the hotel it smelt like a cigar bar. On top of that they do not have valet and you need to park at a parking garage that is 10 minutes away walking. Not worth the money. Do not stay here. It’s across the street from a drug and rehab facility. Not clean, over priced, non attentive. The gym itself is a complete joke. It’s in a closet and they literally have a treadmill, a bike, and a peck deck machine that doesn’t really work and a few dumbbells. Super dissatisfied and disappointed in this stay. The fact that this was recommended and a VIP stay is laughable."
