Absolutely, loved our stay at this home in Lake Tahoe. The location was perfect, close to the grocery store, restaurants, and several hiking trails. We would stay here again in the future.

It is a wonderful cabin. The kitchen equipment is in need of some updating (I was prepared to do some cooking for breakfast, but I didn’t feel comfortable using the pots and pans because of the peeling Teflon) and it would be nice to have better patio furniture.

Amazing little cabin for the ski escapade

Cute little cabin located on a small street off Pioneer Trail, convenient to get to Sierra at Tahoe or Heavenly. Quiet neighborhood. Property well stocked with necessary utensils. Large property thats fenced. Well clean

big fenced yard & extra space for board/ski maintenance

We've enjoyed the stay. Fenced backyard, laundry space for board/ski maintenance and smart TV on each room. Also only 12 minutes drive to the Heavenly ski resort. Grocery stores, dog parks are not that far. (within 10 mins) and convenient location.

Short but sweet

Great place. Clean, quiet and with many amenities. Very pet friendly. Things that would help would be more dishes (we had to wash after every meal or we didn’t have an extra dish also, and a table for eating instead of the side bar would be great. Plenty of room for that it seemed. It was awkward to eat sitting in a row with 4 (and the cabin allows 6 ). It would also help when playing games. Just suggestions itherwise place was wonderful.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is a bit outside of South Lake Tahoe commercial area and 15mins from state line. Great location for enjoying the outdoors with out being in the middle of the town. Dog friendly Kiva Beach and the marina at Camp Richardson were easy to get to, multiple golf courses were within 5minutes, and there is plenty of hiking, mountain biking and climbing close by along I50 heading away from lake.Cabin was in fairly good shape with the Kitchen and Bath looking like they were re-done not too long ago. Only amenity we missed was having a BBQ grill for cooking outdoors.

The cabin was clean, spacious with a great backyard for dogs! we have two small schnauzers and they loved it. Located in Meyers, away from the downtown area but super easy to get there without the traffic using pioneer trail road. Quiet neighborhood, perfect to walk dogs in. No air conditioning but normal in Tahoe. Had a plumbing issue and the manager sent someone out quick to fix it. Overall a great cabin!

Not a rental for all seasons

The cabin was nostalgic and in a nice quiet area. But it is not a rental for all seasons, not when the days are above 78 degrees. Summers are becoming warmer and room fans do not suffice to relieve the stifling heat in the home, increased by the heat the skylights brought in. We could not open all windows to get relief as they were not screened in the living room area. Unbearably warm and uncomfortable. We had no option but to open the windows in the bedrooms all night. Not a rental for high summer seasons.

Very nice, some traffic noise, stains here and there

Lazy Bear Cabin was a fun place to stay with our cocker spaniel. He’s used to condo/city life, and loved just roaming around in the safe and spacious yard. We wished for an iron (I know, it’s Tahoe), and that the yard had been mowed due to stickers. Although the picnic table was broken down, there was a smaller bistro table that proved useful. Our favorite spot turned out to be the front porch due to traffic noise in back. It’s sunny there daytime, and starry at night with the wind whispering through the pines. Traffic noise wasn’t noticeable inside the house at all, even during naptime. The house really cute inside, and cozy. Everything seems to work well. Our host, Michelle, was very responsive when we thought we were missing a broom (it was leaning in an out of the way corner). Overall, great stay. We would book again.

Reviewer Comments: Some debris in backyard (broken picnic table, furniture? covered by tarp, some litter. No foil/plastic wrap in kitchen. NO KEY for Bear box, so had to leave trash in mud room. Very small bar(really for only two people)to eat at, therefore had to eat Thanksgiving meal with plates balanced on knee.But, backyard was very nice otherwise, comfy couch,nice piney location. Feels like a cabin should.Suggestions:Go to Ikea, bring back a small DR table and chairs.Have a stock of cocoa, tea, creamer sweetener, instant oatmeal, cup-a-soups like our other Tahoe rentals had.
