Bed Bug concern
Unfortunately we came to the conclusion there is a great possibility there were bedbugs but didn’t come to this conclusion until after our stay. When we arrived I disposed of a bug in the bedroom that was likely a bed bug but didn’t put things together until our stay was up. After a couple days of our stay my husband had bites all over his legs. A few more days later myself and my kids had bites popping up.We are currently in the process of sanitizing/disposing our belongings as a precaution. Put a real damper on our restful vacation and we’ll be on high alert hoping this doesn’t turn into an issue at home. We’ve reported to the property manager and they said it was likely sand fleas. We didn’t sit in the sand during our stay for all of us to have consistent bites.Aside from that the place was clean, but not tended to in terms of maintenance. The flooring was popping up, there were leak stains on the ceiling and the appliances were all super old. The dryer actually makes a loud noise that makes using it unbearable. We have reported this and were told they’ve received multiple complaints but when maintenance came it wasn’t making that noise. Why not just replace the unit as it was so old if you’ve received so many complaints??Also I want to note the room number is not accurate and there was some confusion when we arrived. It’s actually room 1001. Not sure why it is listed incorrectly.Would not stay here again or with this property management group.
