This was a last minute trip to Sisters and we were fortunate to find this house. It met our needs and a good location.

Kittyhawk Retreat Issues

There are some things you need to know. I have an email that spells out all of the issues. Unfortunately it does not fit in this comment area. Please send me an email address so I can share the list of issues in detail. I did contact you shortly after check in with some of the issues. The list of problems include broken AC upstairs for 4 nights during a very hot week, dog fur and dust everywhere, hood on stove top greasy and dusty, windows are dirty inside and out. Hallway bathroom is missing doors on medicine cabinet, shower head barely works, and dirty shower curtain. Half bath upstairs missing towel bar, missing curtain and rod in 3rd bedroom on west side of house. 2 bags of someone else trash in the garage, no trash/recycle pick up information There was no book of FAQ, couldn't get the TV to work. We asked for a couple extra towels and tp, never delivered. The location of the entrance and exit of the property different than address causing much frustration. The outside is very neglected, fire hazard, holes in the chimney, dry rot on the deck, dangerous uneven pavement. I have a letter with pictures for complete information. I recommend the host does a follow up after the home has been cleaned and that the owner stay there. The linens, kitchen and bathrooms were clean not the other rooms. The host FTVR was very quick to reply to text messages, did arrange the repair on the AC and provided new fans. Definitely not a 5 star stay. rondamensching@gmail.com

Great house, near town butfeel of nature

Great big house for family of 5. Two living areas was magic. Sauna fun. Kitchen well equipped. Clean. Dog friendly. Fabulous huge high desert yard. Easy bike ride to trails and bike or walk to town. House managed by local company, super responsive and helpful.
