Cordis, Auckland by Langham Hospitality Group
"Our trip to the Cordis Auckland was pretty good, we stayed 9days in total in a Executive club room. The room was good, large enough, but if we returned we would like a bigger room, for comfort. I had tried to get an upgrade prior to our arrival, which was given then taken away, we also approached the FOH to get a cost to upgrade when the hotel after the 2nd June was very very quiet, but they didnt seem too interested in making our stay better, of corse they were for nearly double the the amount of our total cost. House keeping everyday, some days due to being very quite they were knocking at the door at 9am, but we had a few staff not all consistant. The room was hot even though we had aircon on in winter, we got a blanket removed. The tv or streaming was limited could be more user friendly after chilling in the Hotel after a big day out doing tourist things.* standout house keeper was *Subhashini she remembered and left things as we like it. Clubroom was always pretty good, the Duty Manager there Michelle is the heart of the room. The food was really pretty good, not perfect but 99.5% you cant please all eaters. They had other stand out staff to us Manish on the Bar and a new traniee Evelyn all such lovely people. Evan on the shuttle bus was great really helpful for tour info after ours keep getting cacelled. Ok the not so good, the FOH checkin or reception, at times they seemed annoyed or stressed or generally not happy, the contact from the room on chat was not useful."
