My biggest complaint about this place is that the bathroom shower/tub area was nasty. I felt gross taking a shower in there. The grout and caulk needs to be redone (a lot of the caulk was black) and the tub needs to be deep-cleaned (likely refinished and re-sealed). Not to mention, there’s zero shelves for stuff in the shower, nor are there hooks or bars inside the shower area to hang towels or place soap bottles. Smaller complaints:-There was a very small amount of clothes hangers. We asked for more and the owner got us some but not until our last night there. -no cutting board in kitchen -no dryer rack -kitchen utensils have seen better days -no antibacterial spray or wipes for countertops -extra pair of sheets for the bedroom would have been nice -more hooks in general to hang stuff would have been really nice-it could be seen as a negative or positive that the owner lives on-site in one of the units. It wasn’t an issue for us but we didn’t realize it until she handed us a light bulb that our unit needed. Positives:-it was so cool to be able to use their kayaks and get them right in the water to head to the secret beach-lots of stuff to use for adventures on the beach-almost the farthest away you can get from the village but the trolley (and Jonny cabs) were free so it wasn’t a big deal to not rent a car. We also used the cruiser bikes during one of our beach-hopping days and that was awesome. -laundry on-site that you can use whenever you want.
