If you are looking for a clean room with barely any decor then this place is for you. It is a good, cheap, no frills hotel then book away. However I did see a bunch of flaws that need to be addressed. The microwave in our room is on its last legs and the fridge had a lot of freezer ice buildup. I flipped the comforter which had a coffee stain on it. The bathroom only had soap nothing else. The bathroom door was filthy and I had to scrub it clean. No iron or hair dryer in the room. Breakfast is donuts and coffee or juice. Cable choices are very limited. However it is near Montague Mountain and downtown scranton. There is a very sweet supermarket call Gerrity's nearby that is reasonably priced and their hot/cold buffets are well stocked and yummy. If you are a traveller that isn't picky about where they lay their head at night, I recommend it. Just keep in mind the entrance and exits are not well marked and I drive past it twice during our 4 day stay.

The hotel rep was very friendly. The room was clean however the hallway was very narrow and musty smelling like it gets smoked in frequently. It is clean but very old and outdated is hard to keep clean. But for the money it cost I thought it was acceptable. I do feel the Continental breakfast could be improved.

Bedspread had a big stain only noticeable from the underside. When told about it, management offered a new room. Very eager to please.

Not modern but very adequate accommodations.

Although this inn is not up-to-date, the rooms were clean and all necessities were provided - even wireless internet. If decor is important, this is not the right place. However, if basic lodging in a quiet atmosphere is all that is needed, this inn has it.

The hotel was nice for the price but kind of old-school

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
I wouldn't complain about the stay as the price was fair. However, the bathroom was very old looking and kind of creepy. The beds were really tiny, my boyfriend and I had to sleep in separate beds. Overall I would recommend it if you're just looking for a one night quick getaway.

I would not stay here again.

Cons: dirty, smelly
Yes, it is a cheap hotel but I still expected some level of comfort and cleanliness. The room smelled really bad like they just tried to clean it by covering it up with a spray. The bathroom was dirty, almost to the point where I didn't want to shower in it. Next time, I will spend more on a cleaner, more comfortable hotel.

friendly service

room was dirty and it smelled, will never return, which is a shame it is next to a great rest. and it is in a great location to everything.

Pathetic !!

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The hotel lobby was dirty, the room was stinking and the bathroom was horrible - not even cleaned properly. There was a part of A/C broken, refridgerator was hardly working and Iron board was not present. The internet doesn't work (the receptionst confirmed!). The complementary breakfast (was it there?) was of no use. Forget about any extra features !!!
