The house was very clean and perfect for my daughter and myself for a weekend getaway. Very easy to walk to the riverfront and restaurants. The furniture was comfortable and the a/c worked well. The carpet on the stairs has been replaced from what is shown in the pictures. We had a car and easily found parking on the street next to the house. The ParkSavannah app is a better option than using the parking meters. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Good location and clean

The location and cleanliness were great. The house was also well stocked with basic supplies. The front door smart lock was a pain - tricky to figure out and the code was changed half way through our stay so we were temporarily locked out. We could never get the courtyard gate to open. It is also very warm upstairs in the summer, so you have to turn the downstairs ac down low for any relief. Other than those small annoyances, it was worth the stay!

Great location

The home is in a great location, but the home is older and could use some sprucing up. The furniture is very uncomfortable. There was no rug in the bathroom. The outside area could use some love, but overall it was nice. Great location and was able to walk to everything.

Fantastic Location

The property was as advertised. Clean, great location, walk to everything in the historic district and a great pizza place two blocks down the street. When we returned to the property I felt like I was home. So, why four stars? The 4:00 pm check in time can be annoying if your flight lands at 10:30 am and you need a place to hold your luggage. There are places that do this, Vacasa was not helpful in finding one. I found one using Google.The front door lock, yes it was difficult, 5 and 1/2 feet off the ground, hard to see if you are short, and yes, you need to turn the knob several rotations before the deadbolt releases. Used a lock like this in Europe so it was not hard to figure out. The front door knob needed to be turned it to the right, then push. The door sticks a little. The stairs are narrow and a little rickety going around the corner, forewarned is forearmed, they were not a problem. All things considered it was a great stay.

Great location to walk Savannah

Nice little home conveniently located within a 15 minute walk of pretty much everything you want to see in Savannah, clean, easy to find, only issue is the back gate is a little tough to open and the key situation could be a bit clearer as the lock boxes are in the back but the keys only work for the front door.Overall great stay

Beautiful, great location

Comfy and Charming Townhouse!

We absolutely LOVED our stay in this adorable property. Wonderful location in beautiful downtown Savannah with everything we needed. It was spotless and the little courtyard was a lovely place to have morning coffee. We walked everywhere! This home’s proximity to all downtown attractions can’t be beat. We would love to come again!

I would NOT rent again!

We checked in Friday at 10:30 pm and the instructions were so confusing. You entered the 10 digit number and turned the “deadbolt away from the opening”, what does that mean? Clockwise or counter clockwise would have made more sense. Then the door is stuck and is so hard to open. The knob doesn’t turn to the left so it felt locked no matter what. The stairs to the bedroom are dangerous, very steep, uneven, slippery, and are busted under the carpet. The place wasn't Clean. The floors were not swept, nothing dusted, the tub had hair, the mirrors had a film, and everything was sticky. There are water stains on the ceiling in most of the rooms and it smelled very musty. I messaged early Saturday morning and throughout the day to say the internet, wifi and cable channels didn’t work. The company finally responded on Sunday afternoon to say the owners never set it up and tenants before us also complained so they made the local management aware of the problem. There are no board games and no books, so when it rains you are stuck with nothing to do. This place has very minimum kitchen, bathroom, and sleeping supplies. They had the manager call us Sunday evening while we were out enjoying Savannah for our last day. Then right after he left a voicemail, the company messaged saying they would be bringing a new modem on Monday, the day we were checking out. I wish I didn’t book the extra day before seeing the rental. I would have went with a hotel.

Overall a great stay for the few nights we were in town. It was very easy walking distance to multiple restaurant options as well as shopping. We enjoyed the charm of the decor and older furniture. Be careful of the 3rd and 4th step on the stairs; they can be tricky. The TV is a bit challenging to use and the free WiFi was very slow, but you’re in Savannah and you should be out checking out the sights anyways! Word of caution if you have a vehicle: metered parking is the only option immediately available around the property. Savannah is a very walkable city! Not as specific to the property itself, but you will also need to pay attention to the signs indicating which day the streets are cleaned around town. There are a few unmetered spots if you are lucky. Regardless, get the Park Savannah app on your phone ahead of time and set up your vehicle and payment info. ~$1 per hr street parking around the location, but parking lots are easily ~$10 per hr, so choose wisely.

Terrible!!!!

It was so dirty, our feet were black from walking around inside. It advertised a pull out couch to sleep the 5th person when we booked the place and when we got there the couch was different from the pictures and was not a pull out couch. Our daughter had to sleep on a small couch.

Cute, cozy and comfy home!

The cottage was very clean and neat upon arrival. Our family of 4 (all adults) really enjoyed our stay and we slept very comfortably. We had a few inquiries which were responded to promptly. The cottage is located conveniently close to the historic district, but I would not recommend walking. A few upgrades could be made to the cottage, but it did not hinder anything and a great time was had by all! Would recommend.

Charming and quiet

This is a good place to experience old Savannah and the neighborhood is safe and charming. Easy walk to cafe’s, parks and shopping. The stairs are a little steep up to the bedrooms so maybe not good for anyone feeling unsure of their balance etc but the bathroom is bright, water pressure and water quality is lovely and you can darken the bedroom to sleep in. Overall it was a nice getaway and would return.
