My first room was lacking basics: no batteries in the smoke alarm; the TV did not work; electrical outlets did not work; no light bulbs in lamps; chipped porcelain in tub and sink. I was switched to another room where these were all in place, but the room was dark and needed cleaning.The woman at the desk said that the hotel was under new management and would likely address these issues!

Not impressed at all!!!!!! After 5hrs drive instead of chilling in the room ....after check in we immediately left....we killed time ...went to outlets....went downtown Savannah..and only returned to our room to sleep and we couldn’t check out fast enough!!!! This was a non refundable booking!! 😢😢

When I called about the reservation the man I spoke with seemed a little hostile when verifying the date of my arrival. Also, the room was filthy and the bathroom was disgusting. My husband woke up with a huge bug bite on his leg and didn’t get good sleep because of the constant itching he was having. The sink basin was broken and the towel rack was off the wall. There was no remote for the tv and the phone and clock did not work. It was a gross, uncomfortable and unpleasant place to stay. Even though we were just passing through on our way to Orlando, we will not be staying at any Econolodge ever again.

This was a mission trip. I dont blame Econolodge. I blame Travelocity. It said there was more bedding if needed, no cot/roll bed ...a bed wasnt made. I had writing on the walls, mold on our guestbook, .a shower full of hair, nails, and only God knows what else. My friends room didnt have a working toilet or phone. There is no cable here. We were exhausted and had no time to find a new hotel by the time we got finished with dinner and site seeing in Savannah. We wrapped our pillows in beach towels and slept in our clothes. No ironing board, or even a closet. I thought I was getting a deal. I actually just got what I paid for. When I asked for clean sheets, the owner acted as though I was lying, he said he personally made the bed in one of our rooms. I have pictures. Thanks, Travelocity.

Pool was being fixed, completion expected in two months. room telephone did not work. desk clerk not familiar with local taxi service. no self-opening doors to lobby. room very dark even with drapes open.

Cockroaches in the room spiders on the walls and the tub looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in about a month. We walked out after 20 minutes and asked for a refund. Still waiting
