We were very happy with the hotel overall. The average cost per night was $133 with Mon-Thurs @$99 & Friday, Saturday @ $199 was pretty reasonable as they provided a decent hot & cold breakfast and beds were comfortable. We very much enjoyed and appreciated the shuttle from the hotel to downtime Savannah although getting a ride between 1pm & 4pm on Saturday wasn’t available which we would have appreciated. Our bathroom faucet leaked the entire time, not earth shattering & understood we may have been inconvenienced some if fixed as we were there 6 days but out each day all day. My husband is a handyman & felt a quick Home Depot trip & less than 30 min would have taken care of the problem. Overall a good stay!

IT STARTED IN ROOM 118, THE PHONE IN THE ROOM DID NOT WORK , I HAD MY 80 YEAR OLD MOTHER WITH ME FOR HER BIRTHDAY, SO WE WERE MOVED TO ROOM 125 TO BE ABLE TO HAVE USES OF THE PHONE. I WANT TO USE THE POOL,BUT THE GATE WAS LOCKED WITH A CHAINED, SO WE TRIED GOING AROUND TO THE BACK OF THE BUILDING WHERE THERE WAS NO PATH TO LOCK GATE THAT OUR CARD KEY WOULD NOT OPEN. ON THE FINAL NIGHT THERE WAS A VERY VERY LOUD FIGHT OUTSIDE OF OUR ROOM . I WAS WORRIED ABOUT OVER SLEEPING , AFTER BEING WOKE UP FOR SO LONG WITH THE YELLING OUTSIDE THE ROOM, I CALL FOR A 6:00 WAKEUP CALL... THAT I DIDN'T GET. TRULY SORRY I TOOK MY MOTHER THIER FOR HER bIRTHDAY.

I am glad that we were able to a room with a working phone. The pool does not have a chain on it just a lock and unless it was raining then the pool was open for the guest all you had to do was ask the frontdesk to unlock it if it was locked we would have been more than happy to do and there is a path to the gate on the other side but it is for the Iris Garden Inn guest. I apologize about the noise on the last night

Great Stay,

Pros: The staff was very friendly and courteous. The breakfast bar was a very welcoming place to dine at (it had everything we desired).
Cons: The wifi signal was not sufficient for our phones. We kept getting a message saying that the connection was not stable (even in our room).
Location: The location was very convenient to Savannah. There are way too many things to list. This item alone is making us plan another trip to this motel.
There is nothing to complain about. This motel exceeded our expectations. Every thing advertised about this motel was honest and accurate. It was a first class stay and we will be coming back!.

Decent for the price!

Pros: Location, Price, and Breakfast
Cons: Cleanliness
The hotel was close to downtown. They provided a decent breakfast and fresh cookies at 6:00 I believe. The hotel seemed a bit old which is fine. Except when my wife and I went into our hotel room the lamp shades were hanging off and one was cracked. Then in our shower there was a red ring around the drain and the tiles in the shower were dirt as well. Also, our view was of trash, a broken semi and rundown house I believe. Which I know they obviously can't help, so we just kept the shades down.

My 5th or 6th stay....

I select the Baymont in Garden City due to its convenient location to the ports in Savannah; I enjoyed all the previous visits-staying over night here-and the following morning of my visit this week I required an extra night. I was told the night was going to cost me three times.....three times.....three times the amount my night stay had cost. I was forced to find a suitable room elsewhere.....25 miles away! NOT the way to treat a returning guest-not that I am any special person-but faithful trading with a business would help the strength of a business. The clerk-did not even offer to locate another location. Or.....a discount on the 'new room; he offered me-stated I would have to move. I may be convinced-NEVER TO RETURN!! GOOD-BYE Baymont Inn at Garden City Georgia......long time customer GONE!

For just one night- maybe

Pros: It was available
Cons: Where to begin??
Location: Not far from savannah. Nothing to do in Garden City
Not in the best part of town. I can say "on the wrong side of the tracks, because i heard the trains all night- directly across the street. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was large, but just felt dirty and dingy. Breakfast is a small step above continental, but it was decent.
