Very small rooms, water made a high pitch squealing noise even when water was not on! No wifi. TV had a muffled tone as if the speakers were shot and no decent channels. Bed blankets were tiny and all in all it felt old and dirty.

The staff was super nice and it is a safe neighborhood with lots of cafe in walking distance. Good room for solo traveling. The room is good for its price as well.

Whilr the staff are super nice and accommodating, the rooms are not well designed and poor in presentation. Water pressure was extremely low and washing hands is impossible due to short nozzle of the water on the sink. The rosty shower heads and limited cleaning amenities such as soap.

Room was tiny, nowhere to put anything, no washcloths, no mirrors, and for some reason they proudly embroidered their name on their dirty towels. Good luck finding your way through their MC Esher inspired staircases that go nowhere. Room code only worked the first night, the second day it had to be reset. Roaches enjoy the place though. AC worked well, and the lobby is kitschy enough to fool the novice traveler. Late night munchies? It’s a half mile walk down a VERY sketchy run down street to Reuben’s Cafe, where scantily leather clad women accompanied by pimps gather and random people come in for drinks. But that’s not the fault of the San Jorge…

Very clean. Staff was helpful in allowing me in from a 3 am flight—just a 10 minute Uber ride from the airport. The “Twin” room was tiny, but all I needed was a bed and bathroom. The decorations and interior were reminiscent of my Abuela’s house near San Juan in a cozy, authentic, and familiar way (I was surprising her for her 90th birthday). I would have probably stayed a second night, but they were out of bottled water in the vending machine and I was recovering from a cold. That was my only issue, and it was a great value for the price! Gracias!

The hotel and staff were lovely! We had an easy check-in/ check-out. We were able to walk to restaurants and a cute coffee shop 1 block away. The front desk called us a cab in the morning to get us to the airport. So convenient. I would definitely stay again.
