Tiny, but Great!

Pros: It's located two blocks from Union Square. Perfect for shopping and walking around.
Cons: Nothing. I enjoyed the hotel very much! The staff was wonderful, the rooms were clean, the lobby was clean and valet was really easy.
Location: Two block from Union Square and 4 blocks from the mall. We got a ride to the wharf which cost about $5.00

Both Positive and Negative Stay

Pros: Staff the lobby is nice and has a nice bar and restaurant. Very inviting.
Cons: the carpets in the rooms they smell.
Location: Loved the deli 2 doors down from the Warwick and also the Walgreens that is Convinient for things you forgot to bring. The name brand shopping is bes
We liked everything about the location and stay at the Warwick except upon our arrival. Since San Francisco is know for being a pet friendly city we got the taste of that when we got the key to our room. The pet order in that particular room was so bad we had to request to be moved. The room is cute and has all you need and it was clean but the pet order made us begin with a negative feeling. I will say the staff was so nice, they apologized for the smell and immediately moved us to another room. We had the pet odor in our noses still so it took us all that day to get it our of our system. Thank god for lysol!! Walgreens is across the street and got a big bottle of it and sprayed every day. The new room didn't smell we just had the pet odor up our nose and wouldn't go away from the previous room. The location was great especially if you love shopping. All the name brand stores are arouund the corner and lots of nice cafe and restaurants, at night it was a little dreary because there is a lot of homeless people out on the streets so be careful it looks like all the creeps come out at night. I'm not saying I wouldn't stay there again because I would but I would have to be with a better rate per night because I think its pricey and not worth the current rate. There are other nicer hotels near by and walking distance wise for better prices.

Nice hotel but very limited amenities

My hotel stay was fine. My room was small, but clean and nicely furnished. I was surprised by the lack of amenities at the hotel. They claimed to have limited room service but there was no information in the room. There was no fitness center or even ice machines. For $400 per night, I was expecting a bit more. The restaurant was nice but very pricey.

On the Run

Pros: Everything
Location: Downtown so plenty to do
My wife and I were in SF for the Nike Women's Half Marathon. We had a great stay and would love to come back again in the future.

First Class hotel.

This is a rare gem of a hotel in SF. Conveniently located. Rooms come in diff. sizes - recommend the petite suite. Always clean, staff is great, and close to everything. I have stayed at this hotel approx. 20 times and have never had a bad experience. I always seek this hotel out first when visiting SF.

This is not a boutique hotel

Cons: No free Internet, Noisy, no air conditioning
When I arrive to the room I realize that the rooms don't have air conditioning system!, The night is horrible because is difficult to sleep, with all the city noise, that includes sirens, horns, people talking loud etc. The room is also small.

I really liked this hotel.

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
I stayed at the SF Warwick for a conference and found it to be conveniently located for any activity in the Union Station area. The room was small, but it is a boutique hotel and it is in a historic building so I wasn’t expecting a large room. It was extremely clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The staff was extremely professional and always willing to answer my questions. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location and price!

Pros: Free breakfast, location
Cons: small rooms
Overall, the hotel was a great location just a couple blocks from Union Square and the trolley and the price was perfect for our trip. The room was small, with only one bed, but since there was only two of us we were fine. The breakfast which was included with the our reservation was great giving us a choice between a hot breakfast or a continental breakfast. I would definitely stay at the Warwick again and highly recommend to friends visiting the San Francisco area.

Great location/value

The Warwick is in an older building, but nicely refurbished and in a convenient location. The rooms are very nicely furnished and decorated in a period (early 20th century) style with nice amenities. The staff are very helpful and pleasant, and there is a Walgreen's right across the street. Adjoining the Warwick (walk right into it from the lobby is a lovely restaurant (La Scene). The breakfasts (only meal I had there were wonderful (and surprisingly inexpensive), not to mention the people-watching views from the front table.
