Waypoint Cottage, one block from the beach!

Waypoint Cottage is a private, renovated, 1-bedroom home.... just one block to the sand! This air-conditioned unit is perfect for a couple getaway or working remotely in the SANDiego sunshine! Walking distance to all that the vibrant Ocean Beach (OB) community has to offer - restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, the OB Pier, and Sunset Cliffs! Off-street parking included.

The space:
Cozy cottage with private bedroom (queen size mattress) and bathroom. Living room couch is designed to double as a single sleeper. Simple, clean, bright, and fully-furnished with kitchenware and supplies.

The patio area in front of the unit is fully fenced, along with three neighboring cottages.

We have separate mini-split AC/heater units in the main living room and bedroom with individual adjustments.

Guest access:
There are four identical cottages on the property and each unit has a designated parking space in the alley behind the cottages. Depending on the size of other vehicles in the alley, parking can be tight … compact vehicles are recommended.

Note: The entire OB neighborhood is under the airplane pathway so guests may experience some plane noise.

Mold and water damage. The space and location was great but the unit had a clear mold smell and mold on the ceilings of the bedroom, closet, window sills, and water damage to the bathroom cabinets and bedside table. The toilet paper being stored in the cabinets smelled strongly of mold. We had headaches and congestion which relieved as soon as we got to a new and clean space after.

Nice size cottage for 2. Very clean on the inside. Liked the full size stove and fridge because i was able to cook when i wanted. Or could walk a few minutes and eat at a variety of restaurants. 1 block to beach was nice as well.

Perfect cottage getaway

We had such a great time staying here with our six month old baby. The included pack and play was wonderful, and dedicated parking was a huge plus. Lots of thoughtful touches in the property and mini split A/C option was great. The fridge has a water dispenser which was so handy! Bed was comfy, great water pressure. We appreciated access to beach chairs as well. We'd absolutely stay here again!
