Our stay at The Palms at Casa Solara was fabulous in every way. The home was just as stated, really well stocked, clean and spacious. We were there with the families of our two sons, and I have to say that I think our three grandchildren were happiest of all. The pool was as warm as promised and the weather was perfect. The kids spent hours end in the pool and one stated that she thought we should stay for 5 nights next time. There are a variety of areas to socialize outdoors with comfortable furniture and umbrellas when necessary. We took advantage of the numerous TVs and let the children watch what they wanted upstairs when they needed to take a rest from swimming. I think everyone agrees that they would like to return to this home. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

What an amazing property. Our family reunion of 16 loved this place. We had seven kids under the age of eight and each had the time of their life. The pool/slide/spa was a hit and the proximity to Legoland and the beach was nice. We would happily return in the future.

House was 110% as advertised. Backyard Pool/Hot Tub/Deck area was amazing for all 11 in our party ages 1 to 65.Biggest compliment I can give was that we had (0) contact with the host. Not even (1) minor issue needed addressed.Thanks

Great for our group - three kids, 4-7 yrs, and they loved the pool. Even the adults liked it. Nice neighborhood - quiet and comfy, with good views from the back of the house. About 1/2 hour to downtown and major attractions near Balboa Park - zoo, museums, etc.

Fantastic House!

We had two families stay here for spring break and the location was perfect! Easy to get to everything. We loved the backyard and pool the most! Great for kids and they had all the amenities! I highly recommend to stay here.

Awesome property!

This property was awesome! We had a family of 10 with our 4 grandchildren. This may be the first time I felt like the description was 100% accurate. The living space was clean with many options for sleeping arrangements, the kitchen was well stocked with necessities. The laundry room was excellent with 2 dryers. Ample living space for all. The pool and spa were fabulous. Great outdoor space for eating and lounging. We spent a lot of time outside. Convenient access to sightseeing around San Diego.

So beautiful!

I had my baby shower at this property and all my guests fell in love with the house and the back yard! It is truly beautiful all around, from the bbq area to the deck and fire pit to the pool and hot tub! Plenty of space too! It is listed as a 5 bed room but the fifth bedroom is the walk in closet of the master bedroom, which is cool! I just wish I knew a head of time because I had to move around sleeping arrangements. I was going to have a single male friend sleep in that room, upon finding out it was the closet in my parents room I couldn’t put him there. So my husband and two kids had to switch from a queen size bed to the closet. So that was a little disappointing. But certainly not the biggest deal! Just a heads up. I also saw someone else’s review saying the neighbor came over to complain when they were only talking in the hot tub. Can confirm, the same exact thing happened to me! No music, no partying or yelling, literally 4 people just chit chatting outside in the hot tub… that I had to pay an extra fee for. So I wanted my moneys worth. Oh and she was not nice, I politely apologized and assured her we would stop. But she continued to accost me and be rude. Definitely made for an unpleasant ending of the night. Nevertheless I would definitely rent this property again! I loved it so much!

Thanksgiving in San Diego

Great house with central location and extremely well equipped. The only thing that could be improved is more provisions of standard items like garbage bags, tp & paper towels. Outdoor space is fantastic with great views and an amazing sunset. Would definitely recommend and return!

Amazing place!

We truly loved our stay. We stayed here with our extended family before a family wedding. It was just perfect! Our daughters (ages 4 and 7) enjoyed the pool and especially the water slide. The house is very clean and the assistant to the owner is very responsive. There is an extra fridge is the garage which came in very handy! One thing to note is that the 5th bedroom is a master closet that has been converted to a bedroom. No windows. We didn’t end up using it. We all said it was the perfect house for what we needed. Thanks for having us!

Norma’s Family 80th Birthday Trip!

Beautiful property inside and out! Well maintained! The pool and jacuzzi was awesome and helped the family relax after eventful activities during the day! I would definitely recommend this property and look forward to another stay on my next visit to San Diego!
