Beautiful view but heavily worn unit
Beautiful views and very convenient location. Steps from a ramp down to the beach, with tons of restaurants in walking distance. Parking in the area is tough, so the single parking space that comes with the unit is helpful. The unit itself is quite worn. The furniture is old, the rug and cloth chairs feel sticky and are stained, and the bathrooms are not great. There is a drastic step up into both showers, like they tiled over bath tubs and made them showers... it's very weird, and would be difficult to navigate for anyone who has mobility issues. One of the showers wasn't working properly when we visited. There was A LOT of dust on the baseboards, ceiling fans, and behind the beds. There is water damage in both bathrooms, banged up walls and furniture. Definitely a lot of wear and tear in the unit. Each bed had sheets and one fleece blanket only, no other bedding was available. There was one throw blanket in a closet, but nothing else in the unit. Bare minimum bath/beach towels. We ran out of toilet paper before our stay was over. Shampoo and body wash only in the showers. No conditioner. The lack of supplies felt unwelcoming. The kitchen was the only area that was nicely outfitted. The check in process was confusing, guided by photos from the host to a self serve lock box in the garage for the keys. The code in the photos was different than the code given in the email. Overall, great location and view, but a lot of money for a run down, dusty condo.
