The best appecriated detail is the location in a charming part of San Diego...with easy access to the Trolley system. The least appreciated detail is the cost of food/beverages in "mini market." I had one breakfast...very good but very expensive.

Room was clean and facility was nice. Front desk service was efficient and courteous. Other staff I encountered was polite and pleasant. The good: room was great, bed comfortable. Window opened to fresh air if wanted. There was a little restaurant in the lobby area that had a decent breakfast at a reasonable price. The fitness center was small but serviceable. The unexpected: no housekeeping; I guess you have to request service, but I wasn't informed. I followed the signage instructions in the bath and left used towels on floor and one I would re-use I hung up. Because shower door did not seal, water pooled a lot on the floor and i ended up with a pile of soaking wet towels for 2 days. Desk lamp didn't work until i rearranged the plugs in outlet. Apparently one outlet didn't work. I guess they wouldn't know about this unless someone tells them.
